I too read “sushi food truck” and “4.8 stars” and felt curious and skeptical. And now, with a belly full of excellent sushi, I too give Dawa an enthusiastic 5 star review. Big menu, great value, and very fresh fish. Give this place a shot. Rolled up at 2:30PM on a Tuesday with no line and was served in under 10 minutes. $30 out the door with tip.

Dawa Sushi is fantastic! They have a great selection of rolls and other, tasty menu items. We split the Tiger roll, spicy tuna tacos, spicy Korean chicken Bento box and a frozen coffee bubble tea between two of us and it was plenty of food. It all tasted amazing and was so fresh. Can’t wait to come back again! Highly recommend.

Had the Bibimbap for the first time and loved it. Delicious. Cooked to order – takes a minute but totally fresh. Friendly. Served in half a takeout box, which at least reduces the trash production. The sushi/rolls are served on real plates so even better.

I normally do not like food trucks but this is different. This is amazing! This is some of the best, if not THE BEST, sushi in Austin. We came here on a whim because all sushi restaurants were booked up with reservations and some are still closed because of Covid.
