An incredible and wonderful experience. Food comes at an incredible value. Paid $8.25 + tax for a pulled pork plate + 2 sides. Spinach Supreme and Summer Squash Casserole sides were filled with flavor, and will fill you up.

The best collards that I think I’ve ever had! Great bbq and mac and cheese too. And priced so good that you can try a bunch of different things. I will DEFINITELY be back when I’m in Athens again. PS – it’s usually packed so it’s best to go between lunch and dinner!

What a great spot! It’s your prototypical “hole in the wall” joint. The food is solid BBQ at an AWESOME price! At the time of posting it was 8.25 for a BBQ plate with 2 sides. The sides are pretty decently sized as well.

Oh my goodness. This was astronomically good. I was in the Athens area for an UGA event and this place consistently was at the top for “Best BBQ” places. I knew that I had to stop by. I got a Ribs plate with Mac & Cheese and Collard Greens, and some peach cobbler. It was incredible. The ribs were so tender (the sweet sauce BOOSTS the flavor, doesn’t mask it) and the mac & cheese was delicious. The collard greens were some of the best I’ve ever had, and the peach cobbler was heavenly. The prices were very fair for the food you get – it’s SUPER worth it. On top of the food, the service is friendly and welcoming. This was one of the best BBQ places I’ve ever been to and I hope one day I can return (or magically summon their food right into my house!). I highly recommend you stop by here.

I never leave a bad review but after seeing all the good reviews I must say, I FEEL DAWG ON DISRESPECTED! She charged me for something I didn’t ask for then Made my wife replace it with a desert INSTEAD of refunding our money back. Just for the food to be TERRIBLE!

This bbq was SO good! It was my first visit so I got the sample to try it all. The pulled chicken was flavorful and moist (tiny bit spicy from pepper). The ribs were not my thing but my companion enjoyed them and said they were moist with a small amount of crusty outside. The pulled pork was tasty. I enjoyed the bbq sauce on the table it is a brown sugar sweet. They have other options at the pick up window but I did not try. The coleslaw was different with raisins and a sweeter dressing. Summer casserole was a fan favorite! Almost like stuffing and squash together. YUM! Baked beans were standard. Mac and cheese was delicious (greasy) with time crisp on the top. Peach cobbler was dripping in caramelized sauce and so good!

Im 7 months pregnant and my baby is addicted to their food! They’ve definitely had about 50% of my paycheck the food is SO good and flavorful. I’ve had just about everything on the menu and everything is so reasonably priced. Customer service is great and you’ll leave full and satisfied ❤️ I almost cried one Sunday when they were closed they have my vote and probably will be tired of seeing my face lol

Best BBQ in Georgia . The sausage sandwich made a pleasant audible ‘snap’ – just the way I like it. The taste? Slightly sweet and spicy with the heat from the sauce hitting at the end. I savored every bite. What amazed me is that every food item, sides included, were phenomenal. The pulled pork was tender and not overwhelmed by smokiness as often happens at standard BBQ joints. The baked beans were so scrumptiously sweet that it could arguably considered a dessert. The Mac N Cheese was a cheesy, mushy, surprise so unique it deservs a name or its own. You need dine here and I need to return.
