We randomly came here when visiting LBI and wow. This was a gold mine, this place was so outstanding that I’ll just come back here for the food.

Stopped in for lunch today with the family. We were seated right away but it took a minute or two for the waitress to arrive, she had a lot of unexpected tables. Orders are placed electronically tableside. Food was good but portions were small, especially compared to the prices. The portion size of the swordfish entree was MAYBE 4oz. and $36, the kids pasta with butter was $13 and consisted of a touch more than a cup of cooked penne. $4.50 for a lemonade. The tap beers were not working and they were out of soup. I got a can of founders IPA for $8. The potatoes were great, burger and crab cake sandwiches, too. I had the calamari which was really good and fried, batter needed some seasoning though. The chipotle aioli was SPICY! Beware of fried jalapenos in there too.

A bunch of friends went out to dinner, 8 total. We split a bunch of appetizers, and ordered more food than we needed. Wait staff was friendly and accommodating, attentive but not overbearing. They let us enjoy ourselves but were quick with drinks. Food was well prepared and plated with flair. The facility was moderate; comfortable for a wide range of clients.

Delicious food, awesome live music, fun cocktails, great service! we had the chicken wings and crab fingers, which is a unique menu item and glad we tried it! Followed by bucatini with clams and crab cakes. Portions were big, service was quick!

Great food! The place close to the lighthouse didn’t have seafood but this place did. Quick service.

Booked week in advance for anniversary dinner. $40 tuna was slimy and tasted like tang over a microwaved packet of fried rice served Luke warm without utensils and old plates on the table. Server asked how our untouched food was seconds after getting it. Extremely rude management who will call you directly if you complain, only to eat her own words in real time over the phone with you. 2 cocktails 2 apps 2 entrees = $194 (w/tip) Daymark is a slap in the face to people who walk in expecting the quality of food and service their prices would otherwise indicate. Avoid this absolute clown show.

Daymark offers the perfect blend of quality seafood dishes with an incredible ambiance. Situated near the Barnegat Lighthouse and wrapped with large windows bringing in plenty of natural light, Daymark offers a certain feeling of comfort as soon as you step inside.

6/2022: Daymark is hidden foodie gem. The scallops are delicious. They were perfectly cooked/seared and paired. My hat goes off to the chefs. The cocktail and draft selection is meticulously selected. The service at the bar, by Greg, was great. No outdoor seating. Enjoy & Cheers!

Ate lunch with my family at Daymark and found the food to be bland and uninspired. The calamari appetizer tasted frozen and was caked in salt. For the entree, I had the fish sandwich. The fish tasted bland, frozen, and had a rubbery texture. The roasted potatoes and pickle it came with were the highlights of the meal, which is never a good sign. My girlfriend’s eggs benedict had good flavor and was probably the best item any of us ordered, but it was overcooked (the yolk did not run when cut). The french toast casserole was chewy and the strawberries were clearly from a can. Perhaps the most disappointing was the crab cake sandwich. LBI has fresh crabs surrounding it, and the restaurant is located in a fishing village. Yet, the crab cake was mostly filler.

We’ve tried this a few years in a row and everytime, it’s fine drink/food wise, but the service is TERRIBLE. We walked in at 4:30 and not one table was taken and we were told they were all reserved and another we didn’t get waited on for 30 minutes. I want to like this place because the atmosphere is cool, but not worth the hype.
