Just moved to Maine and have been on a journey to find places with lobster rolls to try. Found this place on Google with a higher rating than others, so I decided to try it. There was seating outside, I did not go inside as I had my dog with me. It is clearly a popular place as people came off the road as I was waiting for my food and the parking lot was filling up. You order outside through a window and go to the next window to pick up your food. I sat in the car and ate, enjoying the view. I did not finish the food. It was enough for dinner as well. I got a gluten-free bread with the lobster.

Ive been coming here for a long time. I make at keast a few trips here every summer. The lobster rolls are always wonderful. I love the way they prepare them. However, I wasn’t a fan of the “jumbo” roll. 2x the price of the regular roll, but it’s simply twice the meat. It was still delicious. The fried clams were not good.

Service was good. Establishment was clean. I Ordered Lobster Poutine. Should have gotten something more traditional. It has potential to be good, but the temp was a bit tepid, and the curds Did not seem that fresh. I Did not order any other items, but they DO have Moxie! The items ordered by others around me looked good. Prices here seem a good bit higher than Cindy’s up the road, near Freeport.

After waiting in a couple of LONG lines for Portland’s most famed food destinations (and being subsequently underwhelmed).. we stumbled upon Day’s, and the Foodie Gods answered our prayers. The jumbo steamed lobster, twin lobster rolls, fries, and Portland Pale Ale gave us EVERYTHING we were missing and more. So convenient. Right off the highway. Beautiful view to enjoy these magical crustaceans. Don’t miss it.

We live here and go to Day’s once a year for fried clams. It’s been a 20+ year tradition. Today was the day. We were there at 11. 2 pints of fried clams $72. Fries? $8. Really. I think the oil wasn’t hot enough – oil pooled in the bottom. I had mostly scraps – exactly two fully belly clams. It’s become a tourist trap.

Great lobster roll and the view… this place gets 5 star for the outdoor view. Grab a red picnic table and soak in the serenity of the tall grass, blue water and skies. The crab roll was not as good as the lobster roll. The fried clams were delicious and well seasoned. Worth a stop just to eat and enjoy the view.

Stopped on our road trip based on reviews. Did not disappoint. Had a lobster roll…on sale for $19, and the haddock sandwich. Both were delicious but the best part was enjoying them at a picnic table with a great view! Definitely worth a stop.

I stopped in at Day’s and it was great. Their lobster roll & french fries are fantastic! Popular spot, it was busy but the service was fast and I had no complaints. I even got some Chowdah from the market to go! If you don’t want to deal with the parking, waiting, and not as good of food in Portland, go to Day’s. 10/10!
