We ordered a side of fries and the fried pepper jack cheese cubes… for paying $6-7 for each of those sides as well as $14+ for a sandwich alone I expected a higher volume of food. Picture attached of what we received, cup maybe half full of cold fries and half of cup of cubes.

Drove all the way to the restaurant for a pickup only to find out they were out of lettuce and wouldn’t make our food or offer a substitute. They claimed they are normally closed from 2-5 pm, which is obviously not reflected online. They said they cancelled our order immediately on GrubHub, even though they didn’t and GrubHub had to manually cancel our order. Bizarre experience and complete waste of time.

I am not from the Dayton area. I was working at Sinclair College and was looking for a place to eat. I found Dayton Street Eats and thought I’d give it a try. I had the Reuben and fries. My sandwich was made fresh, right in front of me. I spoke to the owner about his storefront and the food truck. I went back and told a few of the people I was working with that they had to give it a try. I hope they did! The food was great! I will definitely be back the next time I’m in the area.
