Just around the corner from the Rutherford Station, this is one very convenient locale to grab a bite and coffee to go during the morning rush, or take a relaxing sit down in the post morning rush. Entering the building, you’re greeted by the strains of relaxing jazz piano in front, while further back, the dulcet standards of Frank Sinatra can be heard, both via satellite radio. The food is done quite well, my favorite being the Taylor Ham, Egg and Cheese. The coffee is quite good, and there are a couple of nice nuances about the place, one being the front window, with its’ iconic inscription “A day without coffee IS LIKE…… Just kidding, I have no idea”. The are only a few tables and a mini coffee house lounge with about a half dozen chairs inside and couple of tables outside during good weather to dine on, so if you want a nice sit down , go during the more quiet hours. Whichever you choose, you won’t go wrong.

We were looking for breakfast foods after regular breakfast time and we found it! We had some breakfast sandwiches and hashbrowns and coffee. Everything was tasty and well made. I love the roll my sandwich was on, it was so good. The hashbrowns were so perfectly crispy and delicious. The restaurant was very clean and comfortable. Vivian was very friendly and attentive. will be going back.

I was in no rush, but for some reason I found myself getting annoyed with how long it was taking to order. The cashier was having a nice conversation with the person in front of me. It was clearly more than a transaction, they were connecting with each other. Asking about each other’s days and talking about relatable things like the weather. The goal seemed to be happiness over saving time, but being happy is probably the biggest time saver. If stress shortens your life, I’m probably losing so much time by stressing out over getting my coffee a little sooner. It’s like those cars that are always swerving through lanes and tailgating people on the highway. They might get to wherever they’re going a few seconds or even minutes before the person listening to a podcast in the slow lane, but I’d assume they’re a lot more stressed out. I didn’t want to be like those drivers on the highway, but I found myself wanting to swerve right in front of their pleasant conversation so I could order my coffee. That’s when I knew I was an addict.

Just had an AMAZING Breakfast here.. Visiting from California for 2 days for a meeting and I saw reviews of this place and decided to try it out before my flight and am I so glad I did. Had the breakfast sandwich *with* the hashbrown as well as their bread roll. Was delicious. And the service was so great too. Super friendly and I’m not a Chai Tea person and even that was so good here.

First time here and it was delicious. Excellent food for a good price. You must try the sausage, double egg and cheese sandwich on their famous roll. Don’t forget to add the hash brown. Vivian spoiled us with some chai latte and an amazing pastry. Definitely coming back.

There aren’t many places that makes you feel good that you shopped at, even before you actually tried the food you got and this place is definitely one of them. Small, family run, just steps away from Rutherford station, this is bound to become my go to breakfast spot. Taylor ham, egg and cheese sandwich was actually really good and you can see that the owners are kind and very hard working people. So happy that I stopped by and will definitely be back!

We absolutely adore this breakfast place! We drive from 4 towns over to order this breakfast. This small family business treats us as one of their own, and always goes above and beyond to make our experience spectacular. Everything is made special, from the sausage egg and cheese to the sweet sweet French vanilla latte that is MUST every time we go. The sweet boy taking orders is so adorable and always makes our day!

Saw this place had great reviews and decided to check it out. Extremely glad I did. This is one of the best Taylor Ham, egg, and cheese sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. Of course I threw a hashbrown on there. The highlight is the roll, it’s unlike any other roll around here. The eggs and Taylor Ham were cooked perfect and the hashbrown was really crispy and took the sandwich to another level. Will definitely be hitting this spot up again soon.

This is the most amazing small business breakfast spot you could ever come to! The staff is incredibly friendly and you couldn’t ask for better service. Try the bacon egg and cheese on the roll, and their hash browns are 20/10 AMAZING!
