“Cat” the bartender was very nice and welcoming. She took our order and got our drinks. The cook “Charlene” definitely did her thing in the kitchen. The food was on point and seasoned well. We got chicken wings (perfect). greens (melt in your mouth), potato salad (tasted like your gramma’s), pork chops (very good), mac n cheese, and baked beans. The mac n cheese had a tangy twist to it. Sort of different, but good. Still trying to figure out what was in it to make it so different. The baked beans had cinnamon in them. Maybe a Toledo thing. Never had them like that. Again different, but still very good. We will go back every time we are over that way from PA.

I was impressed! The fried turkey chops were fantastic! I struggled with the cabbage a bit, and the baked beans were just as sweet as you can stand ’em. The macaroni and cheese was like Mom’s.. So far, so goooood!

I haven’t even taste my food yet, but I definitely want to rate my service!!! Thumbs down. Big time. The lady was rude on the phone when we called to see if they were even open. Then we get there she talking all short and dry. We ordered 3 meals, when asked if my food could be in a separate bag she told me we had to look through them n separate them ourselves. Would have taken two secs to ask the cook who JUST passed her the meals which was which. For a first encounter I don’t think I will be back.
