Headed back home from the snow we decided to lunch at DiCarlos. Great idea! We had no problem getting in and our server was johnny on the spot. Mom got the Prime Rib Sliders, two nice slices of meat on each bun served with au jus and horse radish sauce. My niece had an impossible burger with pepper jack cheese and honey jalapeno sauce. It was huge and served with the usual accouterments and a bunch of fries. I had the soup du jour, which was a Cajun Sausage and Lentil soup. Delicious! And loaded potato skins, always yummy. It’s definitely a good lunch stop.

The Prime Rib Sliders were very tasty and is a good option at the bar. They also had a nice selection of draft beer, wine, and cocktails. The dining room is a better option on a date or with the family.

Excellent! My prime rib was perfect in every way. Service was kind and attentive. The place is pretty loud depending on your table. We sat next to a group of ladies who were very loud. Other than that, it was great.

Great little spot in Ramona. Good comfort food for a good price! A couple of the waitresses have served here for years and are awesome and really take pride in the restaurant. Its nice to see and great having good service! Rootbeer float for desert is always a must!! The shrimp decarlos pasta is great and the french onion soup is awesome and another must have if you like french onion. Super cheesy so I’m hooked! The meatloaf is also great and only 12 bucks for the dinner plate! Really good stuff!

I will start with the service being a little slow, this I can understand as they were fairly crowded and they have a help wanted sign up for every position a restaurant has except manager.

Wow! Their liver & onions are the bomb! Tastes like mom cooked it. And we hear from locals that their prime rib is really good, too… and judging by the number of people around us who devoured theirs, we will have to go back and try that too. And of course the service was great, too!

First waitress came by and disappeared until 20 minutes later when the owner came to ask about our order.

We both had top sirloin steak…we had ordered both medium…mine was rare but I will very rarely send it back due to it coming back black and smoking…I ate it rare and it tasted good…she got the baked potato and I smashed potatoes…overall it was good and we both took home enough leftovers for a 2nd meal…will go back.again…

Why do you have “seared Ahi” salad. I took a chance, but it was terrible fish thrown onto a large bed of lettuce.
