Place looks new, service was okay. Food was good the flavor is there but when you order certain things they don’t have them, no agua frescas, no rellenos. Ordered the carne frita and a side of yucca but it was yucca with a side of carne frita, not worth the price. The only great thing was the trifongo. From the time we got there, there was only 2 people ahead of us it took about 30-35 minutes to get the food and like ten extra to get the appetizer. My husband loves his steak but for the price honestly it’s not worth it. I would much rather go to Chazitos.

Great atmosphere 100% Latin owners business, I have a great experience. The owner itself was able to create an order that was not in the menu for me, as special requests and I couldn’t as for a better service as far going above and beyond. Prices are affordable music it’s on point (salsa) and also have outdoor area. Most definitely I will be back!

This little bit of food cost almost 20 bucks. For the small portion sizes and the taste it was definitely not worth it!!! Won’t be eating here ever again. Chazitos over in Pooler has much better tasting food.

I gave this place another chance I wish I didn’t. I ordered the steak with white rice and plantains. My husband ordered as well. I paid $74 and let me tell you. That food was GROSS the plantains weren’t even plantains it’s was freezer bought breading. The steak was disgusting it was like someones TONGUE, the texture and the look of it “ew!” The rice was like popcorn seeds that’s how dry and hard it was. That place e need to be shutdown bc whenever they first opened the food was good. This was my 3rd time there and second time wasting my money on bad food. This place should be called the backyard instead of da corner. I hate leaving bad reviews but you can’t serve people bad food when they’re paying for good food. Do better!!-

I had a Cuban sandwich here and it was amazing. They let me bring my dog inside and he behaved himself very well. For whatever reason, the crinkle cut French fries were surprisingly great. If I’m passing by here again I’d definitely stop again.

Food is amazing. The flavor is on point. The staff goes above and beyond. You will definitely feel the warmth of our people and culture here. A little piece of home away from home. Hands down my favorite restaurant in Richmond Hill.

Ordered to go.The flavor is Authentic and the items on the menu are things you will find around the island. The tripleta sandwich made me feel back in PR. Definitely going back. Just keep in mind puertorican food is not spicy. It is flavorful but not spicy ( i mention this because thats the critique i have heard before about Puertorican food).

I really dislike writing bad comments.. but i have to.. I ordered a “Tripleta” at least 3 different meats need to be in this sandwich..It barely had “Ham” and it was just lettuce, tomatoes and Mayoketchup.. for an $11 Sandwich.
