Overall from my first experience, I found the food to be average. I ordered half rack of regular pork ribs and 3 sides. The ribs were good. It came with 2 sauces which were very good. The mac n cheese was mushy pasta; the collar greens were bland; and the potato salad was OK. This is strictly a take-out joint in VFW lodge with zero atmosphere. The cost for my dinner was $37. It would have been $43 if they had the sweet potato pie. I thought the dinner was pricey for what I received. And, there was no bread with my ribs.

The people were nice and the ribs were humongous for the price. They had chewy meaty and overall succulent ribs. Will definitely come back and 10/10 ribs.

Had to hunt around for bbq because lucky well was closed. Found d&d, and if you’re looking for delicious smoked meats, no frills, this is your place!! They offer a house and a spicy sauce, standard sides, but sadly no cornbread! Will def be referring my friends and family, and returning myself to try the wings, which were sold out when I called.

It’s set up like a roadside BBQ in the parking lot of the VFW. I don’t care, the ribs are the best. They’re only open Friday and Saturday from 12-5. Go early or call ahead! They sell out often!

I don’t understand – I came to this specific house as the photo on Google, but this place is not a restaurant at all! Please make sure you call before going. I’m 90% sure this restaurant doesn’t exist.
