I was very disappointed by my DRY ham sub sandwich. I didn’t finish it or even get through half for that matter. I’m extremely surprised by the rave reviews I’ve read. We got 3 different subs and all were so underwhelming. I expected more from a deli. Subs had shredded lettuce, red onion, hard slices of unripe tomatoes, a stripe of yellow mustard and a light spread of mayo. It was advertised as having Italian dressing but I couldn’t taste any. Wouldn’t go back.

Update: 6/24/23 — Ordered the Lasagna today. It was very good. Very few issues with this visit – ie missing side salad; no knife; inattentive cleaning of tables; and no paper towels in the men’s room. Good value for the food. Generous portions.

I found it on Yelp. Nice deli with wine and food stuffs.shared a 1/2 meatball sandwich and half a sausage with pepper and onions. Artichoke salad with peppers and loads of vinegar. I think I would like some oil and a bit of salt.

Hands down one of the BEST Italian-style subs I have ever had. I’ve spent significant time in NYC, Chicago, and Boston-style Italian delis and I honestly think this place is better. It’s 33 minutes away from where I live, but it’s a drive I am willing to make. I will be back very soon to try more things on the menu.

Everything I have had from this place is delicious! I love the fettuccine and the Maximus sandwich. The cannoli filling was a little sweet for me, and I also got a mocha which was not sweet enough (the chocolate sinks to the bottom…), and together it was balanced. I recommend the chocolate cannoli over the regular; the richness of the chocolate balances the sweetness of the filling. If you like bitter/dark coffee, the price point is great. The vibes in-store are excellent. I always want to sit in and chat because of the cozy environment, and sharing a meal here lets me savor my food, which is always excellent. Best provolone EVER <3 Overall love this place!!

The grocery has some original imported Italian goods like meats and salad that you don’t find everywhere, but the common things are overpriced. I had a tasty spaghetti sauce with a juicy meatball.

So, this is the one and only Italian market in AZ. If you are looking for Prosciutto and Mortadella there is no other place to look.. Sandwhiches, pastas, dough, meats etc. Excellent deli and be prepared to wait in line during lunch periods. Its really good stuff

There are no adequate words for how delicious this food is. I tried 5 things from their extensive menu and every single thing was perfect. I went twice in my short visit to Scottsdale and I plan on going back every time I am in AZ. The Italian Beef with provolone is what dreams are made of.
