Glad to have had the opportunity to visit this well known local spot while visiting the area. Unlike any pizza joint experience i’ve ever had. First we ordered at a counter before being escorted through the back of a narrow alley into a small garden seating area. nothing formal, all low key.

The vegan margarite pizza and the vegan mozzarella sticks are fabulous. I especially love how kind they are to bring the food over to where you’re sitting in Albany Distilling Co right next door. Best business duo EVER.

I really liked the Smoked Mozzarella Pizza first time when I ordered at the store. After couple of days I reordered online the same pizza and it’s all burnt. Seriously burnt and felt like I was eating charcoal. I really need a refund for this. Please double check your order before leaving the store.

I am pretty disappointed. Their gluten free dough was really good and I was willing to pay for it but they switched it recently. I am certain it is supplied from birch gluten free bakery since it has the same dry and spongy texture. I wouldn’t mind that it is the same, as other restaurants use this supplier in the area, expect they charge a premium price for it here. I can go to birch bakery or the other Albany joints and get the same dough for half the price.

The pizza is amazing! It’s definitely one of the best pizza places I’ve been to. The cheese, sauce and crust are amazing. The crust could’ve been slight more crispy, but that could just be because I prefer an extra crispy crust. The customer service is amazing as well. The price of the pizza matches the quality of the pizza, which isn’t something that happens often. There’s usually a compromise when it comes to quality food in relation the the price, but this place is definitely an exception. I will definitely be coming again, and I’m looking forward to going to their Troy location to try their homemade pasta! If you’re in the Albany area and looking for something good to eat, come here.
