Been coming here for more than 10yrs. Food is always consistent and good. They use real wood coals and not gas. They’re known for their pork belly as their name suggests, but don’t sleep on their eel which is amazing. BYOB on top of it.

It’s a bbq place but I’ve decided to take an adventure for a lunch deal. They have 7.99 deal for several Korean dishes. I got myself a kong biji (soybean curd stew?) I think it is the second best thing I had after my grandma’s. Their kimchi is good too. I will definitely go again for more.

Just had dinner here. Found two pieces of steel wool in my soup. Also I asked for soju and was straight up told no. Not we don’t have any or we just ran out but just NO. And after all that they didn’t even offer a discount or anything. The server was nice but the rest of the staff made me feel like I wasn’t wanted there.

Out of all the dining experiences that I’ve had in my life, this was the WORST dining experience ever! I was there with a friend on 11/14/20 for bbq dinner. The owner was a different person, she seemed like a relative because she looked like the original owner however I can be wrong. The owner was so nasty and rude from the moment we walked in. It means a lot when someone tells you that they had the worst dining experience ever. This was the absolute worst dining experience ever, no wonder even during dinner hours on a Saturday we were the only customers.

The restaurants next door to here are all pretty stellar and reasonably priced. This one is more pricey if you don’t go for the lunch special, and the meat flavor isn’t all that special just so-so. The japchae is ok. However, what could have been a serviceable meal was completely ruined by the pushy waitress (or owner?) desperately trying to get us to order more even though we had already ordered more than enough. We ordered an extra soup ($15) which we didn’t even touch and took home because we were full. If I want to waste money and get intrusive service I’ll go somewhere else with better food!
