This is my new place when I visit Springfield with my friends. We stopped there for food. I wanted to go to Theodore bar but the group wanted to try Del Rey out. I have to say I love love everything about it. It was my first time was surprised with the body search but that didn’t changed the atmosphere I would say food was amazing, best tacos and soup. Very authentic. I hope to visit again. Let’s not forget the DJ playing most recent music. THIS PLACE is AMAZING.

Visiting from out of state. Bar was nearly empty late afternoon. Bartender was great, he was very attentive and made some conversation. Food came out super fast, great presentation. Chicken nachos were actually really good. The birria tacos were just okay. Too cinnamon-y tasting to me, needed more salt and some heat. Definitely will patronize the bar every time I come back here. Great margaritas and I love that they have Modelo especial on tap.

We had a difficult time finding anything that was open on a Monday afternoon. Luckily Del Rey was and the server was awesome! As the son of the owner, he was able to give great advice on the food and drink menus to us. Wonderful atmosphere, food, margaritas and local beer.

My father and I came here for a second time for some late night eats. We split the southwestern egg rolls (recommend) and a chicken quesadilla, I also got the Paloma. The egg rolls were delicious and the side of chipotle sauce really helps to add to the flavor. The quesadilla wasn’t my favorite but still a pretty tasty and a good portioned item, the first time I got a burrito and thought that was the better option. The Paloma was tasty and flavorful, but just a bit sweet. Overall a good spot downtown that I would come back to.

Was greeted and sat quickly. Appetizer(pork meat nachos) and food(chicken burrito) came out quickly and hot!! Delicious, fresh and plenty. Drinks were on point. Music was not too loud and place was clean.

Food was really good, prices were pretty affordable, staff was very good at taking care of chaos in a collected manner, even in very busy moments. Only downside is that it definitely was a little cramped (don’t know if they brought more tables out then usual for this event). Because of this a friend of mine was asked to leave their mobility aid unattended for spacial convenience. My partner and I both got just a meal and our total came out in the $40 range. Left feeling full. Overall a good dining experience and would recommend for able-bodied people.

Travellers, Del Ray taqueria in downtown Springfield is a wonderful Mexican restaurant that hits all the right notes. The margaritas are delicious and huge. The cheese dip is delicious and a bit spicy. The shredded chicken burrito and the shrimp tacos were delicious. The menu is full of choices and there is something for everyone. The restaurant has a lot of character and felt authentic. Almost like we were in Mexico. The music and the atmosphere was very congenial. Service was with a smile. If you are in downtown Springfield check it out. We recommend.

Food was DELICIOUS, customer service TERRIBLE!!! Servers didn’t come to our table, we had to say excuse me to any one that walked by when we needed something. We asked 3 people for salsa before we actually received it. They charge $3 for a small serving of Pico de gallo and $2.50 for SOUR CREAM how you charging for condiments?! They also charge $1 for LIME SLICES. Don’t order the margarita pitcher, there’s little to no alcohol in it so you’ll barely get a buzz. The house margarita is gross.
