I used to love Del Taco, never had a problem with their food in any location. But, today, I was so disappointed. It’s like they didn’t even try. My oldest niece was complaining incessantly about her cheeseburger as she opened it up only to see half of a meat patty and some barely there cheese. So she opted for cup of noodles from home. My shrimp tacos were so soggy, I had to eat it without the tortilla. The fries were soggy as well, we air fried it, but it was just bland so we threw the rest out. I’ve never felt so disappointed with fast food. I am not picky with fast food because it’s just fast food. But, this location, no wonder no one was in there. I will not be returning to this Walnut location.

I like Del taco and I’ve been going to Del taco for many years. It’s always a pretty quick and easy fix for hunger, most of the time. But at this location for some reason I’m never able to get fresh french fries. They’re always soggy, and were probably made hours prior to serving. The other food is OK. Sometimes I get a quesadilla that’s not melted all the way through; but it’s kind of the risk that you take when you get fast food I suppose. The one thing that I think is very easy and can always be done right is the fries! The other food is whatever and the fries are usually what you’re looking forward to if you went through the drive-through since they’re easy to manipulate. If I can give this place a grade, it would get an F – for messing something up that I’d so easy to make.

I will never go here again. I gave them 2 chances. Third try and they struck out. Beyond Avocado (Vegetarian) tacos was a mess. Chips was stale and the salsa did not have a top, they had to cover it with some old looking foil. I didn’t eat it. They had no strawberries to go with the strawberry lemonade I ordered. The cashier apologized and said they would “upgrade” it to a large drink free of charge. So I asked for a regular lemonade which tasted watered down. It was all waste of my $10. I had somewhere to be so I didn’t go back to return the mess they gave me. Good luck ordering food from here.

Do not come here! It’s the nearest Del Taco to me, but the customer service is absolutely horrible. Even though it’s fast food, they make you wait in the parking lot. It’s happened multiple times to me, but today was the worst. I ordered shrimp tacos and they told me to wait in the parking. After waiting over 15 min I went in and my food was laying there and cold. What a waste of time and money. Will never come back! (After me other customers came in that were also waiting in their car for the food, obviously upset)

Went to Del Taco in walnut the other night around 7pm. Not sure why they took so long to just greet us on the drive thru! We had to to ask if anyone was there. Then as we took our order we had to keep repeating several times what we wanted to the young lady who was taking our order. As we pulled forward we noticed that there was a car in front of us who seemed to be waiting there for a while. As we patiently waited . We noticed that 15 min had gone bye and The gentleman in the car in front of us decided to just drive off. As it became our turn to approach the window. The young girl just stated to us that she’s new so it’s going to take awhile longer! As we noticed that there were only 4 other young workers there they seemed to be to busy talking among themselves!! Service was terrible!! Won’t be going at that location anymore! Landed up spending a total of 25 min. And still wasn’t able to receive our food. Not sure how it’s there in the morning but would not recommend going there in the evening to night time.!
