Took mom there for Mother’s Day. Not gonna lie: the place is cute & trendy, but other than that, it lacks all across the board when it comes to the food. We did not expect the food to be authentic by any means, but we also didn’t expect it to be just “ok” considering all the great reviews it has… We ordered Chicken Mole. The mole is OK but you can tell the chicken is cooked separately & not with the sauce. It was disappointing at best… Maybe we just need to order something else next time. Although, I doubt I will be back, tbh.

It was my 1st time trying this place out, and we liked it. I had the mole chicken enchiladas, and my husband had the beef enchiladas suisas. Mexicans have a saying, we can tell that you can cook when the Mexican rice is really good-AND their rice was good. I recommend this place. We noticed that the food had a bit of a kick to it-little spicy. But hey, it’s Mexican food, it wouldn’t be Mexican without the spice. We would DEFINITELY come back again.

The food was so so fresh and tasty- tons of vegetarian options. They had great happy hour specials and the staff were super chill and attentive. From the fresh herbs in the drinks, down to the beautiful plates our food was served on- it’s as good as it looks!

I had a mushroom and cheese quesadilla & it was honestly the most delicious thing!! The tortilla is thick & handmade they put real nice quallty cheese that stretches with every bite and the mushroom!!!! THE Mushroom!! Last time I had a mushroom taste that good was at a stake house restaurant in Houston (State of Grace)

Food was delicious! We had tacos and pozole, and split a big kids meal among our two kids. The margaritas are creative and delicious, and the kids enjoyed their horchatas. In the middle of a weekday, they were a little short on staffing, but extremely cheery and efficient. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful local experience. We happened to dine on El Dia de las Madres and enjoyed the families celebrating their mother’s with flowers and a local band. Great drinks (mezcal flights!) and delicias mole. So glad we selected Delicias during our short stay at DHS. Grande!

Super disappointed with this place. The last few times we’ve been there the standards didn’t meet our expectations. We’ve been coming here since they opened always ordered the chile gueritos stuffed with shrimp. This time we sent the order back because half of them and NO Shrimp. When we received the replacement order they had half a shrimp in them. After speaking with the owner he told us they only put 1 shrimp in each chili.
