What a lovely place to stumble upon! The ambiance is light, airy and very cozy, beach-like. The service is very personable. And the food is amazing!. Besides the fresh pastries ( have not had a croissant like that in ages, if ever!), I would highly recommend trying their breakfast sausage! I was never a big fan of meat in general, and breakfast sausage in particular. But their sausage is really very different from what I tried before- fresh and very tasty. I wonder if that’s a family recipe or they get it from a local farm and it does not have as many preservatives. Awesome place, wish it was closer to where I live!

I loved the bruschetta! I have gone before and just gotten that because it’s so good. I’ve had their paninis before and they are also really good! The bread that it’s on is so soft and delicious! Their pizza is good too, although I found the dough to be a little doughy towards the middle. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for just a quick place to stop in!

I can’t say enough good things about Delizia Café! The owner and his lovely family have brought the charm of Italy to Downtown Frederick and I couldn’t be happier. Having traveled in Italy numerous times, I can tell you with confidence that we are fortunate to have this kind of authenticity here in town. Eating their delicious food while sitting by the window and waving at familiar faces as they passed by was absolutely delightful. The ambiance, authentic cuisine, helpful and attentive staff, the focus on community engagement… not to mention their extensive and growing menu?! Their new gelato bar is the best! It’s official, I’m a fan for life. Keep up the great work Carmine and team!!

Visited for lunch and the atmosphere was relaxing and staff friendly, but if you’re looking for good food served in a timely manner this isn’t the place for you. It took an hour to get our food not including waiting on someone to take our order. The pizza tasted like a poor quality freezer pizza and if that’s your thing ok but $13 for a ’10 cheese with a few flakes of basil is steep in my book.

Their coffee was amazing!! It was perfectly sweetened and in a cute cup 🙂 However, their pizza was terrible. The crust felt undercooked and the toppings were okay. I noticed over people who ordered the pizza didn’t eat it all either. Maybe a coincidence though…

Me and a friend went here for an afternoon brunch and everything was absolutely fantastic. I really think for the cost you get a lot of bang for your buck. The only small critique that I have is I think they may use Minute Maid orange juice, and I’m not necessarily a fan of Minute Maid. But that’s more of a personal preference than anything. Which is why I still gave them five stars on food. Definitely a place you want to check out for brunch, carry out specialty coffee or just a nice snack, or a dinner
