Great atmosphere, drink menu, bar space. I’d recommend reservations because they are usually packed. There’s nowhere to wait for your table so we felt in the way for about 20 min until our table was ready. The hostess acted annoyed we showed up a bit early and was a little rude about it. Our waitress on the other hand was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was good but overpriced. We got a number of appetizers including the meatballs, antipasto, and beans and greens. The beans and greens were the best part of the entire meal. My pasta (one of the specials) unfortunately was dry and the sauce was lacking acidity. I’m not sure I’d come back based on these points but it’s worth a try once.

This place is is authentic Italian as you are going to get in the Pittsburgh area and especially in the north. We did the 5 course for 2 and can’t recommend it enough. Chef Saul was twirling and whirling around in the kitchen the whole time we were there and we were blown away with the food portions and the flavors, we already are planning to go back for our next special event, we wish we could keep it our little secret but it’s just too good not to share and support. Amazing food!

Hands-down, without question the best Italian food I have ever had! I am not the biggest fan of Italian food, but this is homemade from start to finish. Everything is very intentional with the fresh ingredients and a specific menu designed to provide perfect entrées appetizers, and cocktails. The atmosphere is perfect, excellent bar, From the time we walked in and were greeted by the young man at the front door, they could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Whatever you have to do go out of your way to visit this you will not be disappointed. This is not anything like an Olive Garden or a Carrabba’s or any Italian food I have had anywhere around here. This is the real deal!

I’ve been here many times over the years, but last week was not a great experience and I don’t know if I’ll be back. I ordered the clam pasta. The pasta was awful. The clams did not taste good and there was sand throughout the entire dish. Also, I asked for light on the chilies in the pasta. The waitstaff assured me they could do that but unfortunately my pasta was pretty spicy. I explained to the waitstaff and they did not offer to do anything to fix it and basically said “Well that’s a bummer”.

One of the best restaurants in the Pittsburgh area. It’s not cheap so if that’s what you’re looking for, hit up a corporate place. That being said, it’s worth it! The food is creative, fresh and delicious every single time I’ve been there. The cocktails are freaking amazing. The service is superb. This restaurant is an experience in fine dining. We love it.

The food is outstanding!! Fresh, homemade pizza and pasta was delicious. The ambience was exciting and overall, the meal was worth the drive from the South Hills. Parking on a Friday wasn’t great but not the worst. Wish it was better.

I’m not averse to overpaying for food, but more than $30 for rigatoni and 2 meatballs in vodka sauce, plus a $8 salad, really hits a sour spot for me. Then, on top of that, they charged for extra parmesan . That price rang true with the other 5 people at the table. Definitely READ the menu before going.

This restaurant is INCREDIBLE. I truly can’t believe it doesn’t have five stars. We have been here three different times, and each time it’s just as excellent. The vibe and decor in the restaurant is super cool. We had Will as our waiter and he was very professional, gave great recommendations, and knew the menu from front to back. He made the experience very enjoyable. HIGHLY recommend the greens and beans but you can’t go wrong with any dish.
