Wasn’t too thrilled with the fried chicken salad. Shredded lettuce, minimal cheese and carrots and a slice of tomato. The chicken was small pieces and was very difficult to eat with any salad ingredients. However, my entire family loved the onion rings and the entire staff were very friendly and attentive.

DelMars is a different type of “fast food”. They start preparing it after you order it; and for this reason, the wait times to get the food are a little longer, but the taste is usually worth the wait. The food is usually hot and not been setting under a heat lamp for no telling how long. Staff is friendly, personable, and 99.9% of the time they actually get the orders correct. Not many “fast food” restaurants can say that!

Its average at best. The attitude of the very young staff borderlines rude and somewhat acceptable given the fried food joint that it is. Sweet tea tasted on the verge of being sour. The best thing about the place is the ice cream. Delicious ice cream. Will be back for that.
