If you get tired of the “junk food” on the boardwalk, this is a good spot to hit. I did takeout twice while recently at Ocean City. I had the broiled scallop platter, which had a surprisingly number of scallops, along with a nice serving of spring mix. Perfect meal. The next day I had the apple walnut salad with grilled chicken. Nice portion, and it tasted great.

I’ve been to Ocean City before and been on the boardwalk, but I don’t think I ever noticed this spot before. My boyfriend and I were sat pretty quick. Our server was great and very friendly. She definitely was helpful and welcoming, especially when there was an allergy issue when my food came out (my fault, not hers) and she offered to have a new one made. I ordered the Cod Tenders app as my meal, so no fries (pretty sure I’m remembering that right) and he got a Buffalo chicken cheesesteak. Food was good. It was cooked perfectly because the cod wasn’t soggy when it came out and it was flaky and crispy. It’s a bit of a tight space especially if you’re seated in the booths by the entrance because you’re right by the cooks line but that’s most places on the boardwalk. I wouldn’t come here with a huge group, but definitely great for smaller groups for sure.

On our food tour of the OCNJ Boardwalk, we were greeted by Sophie at Del’s Grill. (Great waitress!) We ordered the “Big Misteak,” a Philly cheesesteak with fries. (She evenly portioned our order in two baskets for us!!!) The sandwich was wonderful; the bread soft and fresh … amazing!! And the fries were thick and perfectly cooked, a generous portion. For hungry, budget-conscious visitors, this is a definite place you need to checkout when visiting Ocean City. Ask for Sophie… tell her we sent you!!

Ordered 2 California burgers which were cooked perfectly. Fries were crunchy & hot and the food was ready when we went to pick up our order. We loved it so much that we ordered the very next day for dinner. Cheesesteaks & fries. Again, cooked perfectly. Fries hot crunchy delicious. Condiments provided with each order, no need to fumble with rechecking order before leaving. Had we known of this hidden gem sooner, we probably would have eaten at dells more during our vacation!

Today I visited this restaurant and I must say I was very disappointed. After spending the day on the beach, we dined in and ordered crab cake sandwiches and was not pleased at all. I wouldn’t recommend this sandwich, in my personal opinion I felt it wasn’t freshly made, it had a weird taste, 0/10 on the food in my opinion. The service and atmosphere was great. The presentation was a 10, it looked delicious but the taste didn’t quite live up to the appearance. I traveled to ocean city and was very disappointed in my choice of dining waste of money.

This place is fantastic. My friend and I ordered coconut shrimp which was delicious. Onion rings that were the best I’ve had in quite some time, and i ordered a crab cake platter. Delicious perfection. And their fries- crispy and delicious.

Food is fantastic, didn’t expect such a good quality, since food on a boardwalk is typically subpar. But Del’s Grill is great, we ordered from them every day during our vacation, definitely recommend!!
