Excellent Soul Food restaurant! Very friendly staff. It was an excellent variety to choose from, with specials changing every week. I hate I missed the Lemon Pepper Chicken, but it’s no doubt I’ll return. The vibe and energy in this restaurant is homely. Somewhere you will feel you can kick your shoes off and have great conversation or watch the game.

A friend of mine recommended this place to me a few days ago . I live in Knightdale I came all the way from Knightdale to try this soul food restaurant. And my oh my ❤️☺️ I’m absolutely stoked I had the Cubed Steak Dinner over Rice with Gravy, Fried Okra and Mashed Potatoes the flavor of the Gravy and Cubed Steak is delicious loads of Southern flavor. I also had a side of Homemade Mac and Cheese and ooooo weeee the fluffiness of the Mac with the perfect amount of Cheese makes you want to slap ya mama ☺️ not literally but true southerners know what good Mac and Cheese taste like ❤️ it was so good I haven’t had homemade Mac and Cheese that good in a long long time . Overall everything on my plate was flavored and delicious the vibe was chilled good soulful music playing I just felt at home . So if you haven’t tried Demario’s in Garner NC I recommend you come give them a try you won’t be disappointed . Ohhh and one more thing the Banana Pudding is a must try trust me it is some of the best Banana Pudding I’ve ever had

What a wonderful experience found out an old family friend from PA is co owner. Food is totally delicious and great dessert ( My 16 yr old son said he met his match with the huge Turkey Leg lol) My sausage,onions and peppers meal was just so good with bread, baked beans, and cole slaw. What a small,small world. We bought shirts and will definitely eat here come next year on our return Everyone do not leave NC without Demarios Soul Food!!! It’s from the soul believe that!

This was my first time visiting Demario’s l. The fried chicken was tasty, stewed apples were sweet and tangy and cabbage tender. Not overly seasoned and yet the ambiance was bright. Reasonable pricing as well and good customer service. Do give them a try!

Delicious food, friendly people, great atmosphere. I had the turkey leg, okra, mac and cheese, and a lemonade. The only complaint I could possibly have was that my okra was definitely from the bottom of the fryer and didn’t taste as good as my mom’s, which was fresh. But other than that, it was a really great experience and I can’t wait to go back again when I’m in need of some tasty food!

I was not impressed with this restaurant. I will not be returning. Coming from the South, I understand how Southern food is supposed to taste, and this definitely was not it. I get the impression this food came from a can. It was not made with love. I should have known that the restaurant being completely empty mid-day on a Saturday should have been a dead giveaway.

I’m never ever going bk to this place the very first I visited the restaurant the chitterlings were good. Go bk this time they mixed the chitterlings with C- loaf and I know because I’ve had both then on top of that the Mac and cheese taste like it came straight out the box along with the canned glory green please please don’t go waste your money at this place im never ever going bk.

Food was not good. Had the baked bbq chicken the sauce was probably craft the chicken had no flavor or seasoning. The cabbage is horrible. This plate was 18$ and I barely ate any. The chicken tenders are not even breaded they cut a chicken breast up and deep fry it. This plate was 12$ and barely fit for a child. Will never go back.
