Alright, guys. See this delicious, tasty, amazing Moons Over My Hammy sandwich? This is from the Denny’s in Anaheim. I’m local… I tried your food 3 times (in case of a fluke) since you opened. It’s worse every time. I’ll keep frequenting Denny’s, just not yours unless something changes. Not being snarky and in all seriousness, I hope you figure it out.

It has been several years since I visited a Denny’s. First time here since they opened. Staff is friendly and attentive. The restaurant has outdoor seating. Other than a few crumbs on the chairs, the restaurant appeared clean. The local decor pays homage to Pleasanton with local pictures and signs. I ordered my pastime favorites: ultimate omelet and mozzarella sticks. They were out of marinara sauce for the mozzarella sticks and the omelet was a little too salty for my taste. My hubby ordered Moons Over My Hammy with fries and thought it was too salty and meh. The food doesn’t taste quite the same from what we remembered.

Worst service like no other Dennys. The waiter is pathetic shaking his head when we ask to buzz the table. Never came back to check on us. Had to ask thrice to get water and twice for sauce. He dumped the drinks on adjacent table and inquired if we don’t want our drinks. And he spilled the drink all over the glass. All on a Sunday 2pm unlike middle of the night where you expect lousy service. Food is 3/5. Never going back.

This Denny’s is a modern and beautiful space. We came here today for breakfast after spending the weekend in Pleasanton for the Goodguys Car Show. Our breakfast was delicious and so fresh – the hash browns were delicious and everything we had tasted great. Thanks to the manager and staff for a really good breakfast!

Javier was our server and he was very attentive. I had ordered my steak well done but it came back medium rare, I let Javier know and he quickly sent it back and I got a new plate with the steak being medium well. He always checked on our table and made sure everything was great. Very friendly, smiling, and just overall great experience. His manager Jerry was also very friendly and kind. Great experience and excellent service.
