DeNunzio’s Italian Trattoria opened in April 1997. It began with one dining room and a small bar. In 2007, the restaurant added a new banquet/dining room with seating for 100 guests. In addition, The Wine Cellar, an intimate and private dining space, was established to accommodate 20 guests. Both rooms were expressly designed for special occasions including business meetings, bridal or baby showers, birthday and anniversary celebrations, rehearsal dinners, or bereavement luncheons. In October 2017, the bar seating was expanded to 25 seats, making it perfect for Happy Hour and dining at the bar. In addition to the wrap around bar, an additional dining room was added to service 65 guests.

Absolutely delicious. Excellent service. We ate here at 330ish. Today is sat. So wait was not long. Food was timely. And ABSOLUTELY delicious. Staff kind and on point. Clean. We had trio of chicken pi atta, Romano and marsala ( thee best marsala I have ever had and I am an avid marsala eater). Pizza was delicious. Strazzopretti was amazing. The famous homemade balsamic vinegerette was sooo good. We are taking home leftovers. Getting sauce to go and planning our next visit. Such a great gem to find.

This was my 2nd time to this restaurant chain. I had firstly been to the location in Jeanette and that was pretty decent. I really enjoyed the food. I then went to the location in Monroeville and the setting was super romantic and personal.

The veal was overcooked and the spaghetti was also overcooked. Otherwise very nice atmosphere good service. The salad was very good along with the vegetables I received with my meal. I definitely feel the meal was not worth the price.

So, trying this as a new place found when I typed “Italian Restaurant” into Google maps. I must say I am absolutely impressed with the food we received when ordering here. I got the ny strip as I had a craving for steak this night. Ordered Medium and came absolutely perfect. The red skinned potatoes and steamed broccoli were both done to perfection. My date ordered the shrimp fettuccine Alfredo and had chicken also added. She said she absolutely enjoyed it and was very impressed. Overall 10/10 will visit again. The waitress was also excellent with her service and frequency. Bartender also made a very very good margarita! Number 1 for me in the Pittsburgh region when searching for a restaurant with great food great service and an excellent vibe.

Let me start off by saying the food was wonderful and delicious. I have zero complaints about the amazing eggplant parmesan and the Cesar salad with my meal. The rest of my group of 4 also seemed very satisfied. With that out of the way the rest of my experience was far from optimal. For this review I took multiple pictures of the atmosphere, on my way out I attempted to take a photo of the bar and the entrance when an employee accidentally walked into my shot. I immediately apologized and said “sorry I didn’t mean to get you in the picture” I waited for him to step to the side and I took another picture of the bar and entrance. The employee then followed me to my vehicle and confronted me about the picture. He said “I know what you’re trying to do, don’t you take a picture of me in my place of work” at this point I became extremely irate. I proceeded to explain it was an accident and that it was for my review and he would not accept that and continued to yell at me. I asked the individual to please go away and that it was an accident and I’d delete the picture. This was not good enough for this individual so he would not go away and physically blocked the rest of my group from getting into the vehicle. I cannot believe this employee acted so aggressively over this incident I’m blown away. I’ve decided due to his extreme lack of professionalism I’d add the picture to this review so hopefully the management staff can handle this staff member appropriately. I’m extremely disappointed in this incident and denunzios and I do not plan to visit this location again. My anger did present some profanity on my end, but I believe it was justified. Restaurant management please feel free to reach out to me, the camera equipped to my vehicle recorded the entire altercation.

Dined tonight with a party of 9 for my sister’s birthday. The food was great. The service was super quick. We had appetizers, dinner, and drinks in an hour. Jen was a wonderful server. The food is always consistently good here which is why my family keeps coming back.

This place has gone downhill in the last two years. I couldn’t believe how disappointing our visit yesterday was. Bread was tough and stale, meatball appetizer was ice cold flavor was lacking, broccoli was hard and cold, wedding soup was lukewarm with ONE MEATBALL and ZERO noodles, Philly cheese steak was overdone and oddly sweet, my mothers “My Three Sons” might as well have come straight from the fridge. I just could not believe how subpar the flavor was and how cold everything was! I don’t know what went wrong on that front.
