My husband and I were searching for something to eat this evening and happened upon The Depot. I ordered a chili cheese dog with mustard and onions, along with onion petals. He ordered a regular hamburger with cheese fries. We both drank water. The place was busy, but our orders came out faster than I though they might. My hotdog was cold. It wasn’t even hot enough to melt any of the grated cheese on top. The chili didn’t sit right with me and made me feel sick. I couldn’t eat my hotdog. The onion petals were good, but they forgot to include the ranch dressing in our order. My husband went back inside to ask for it. He said his burger was hot. The cheese fries were good. There were two girls inside handling the front. One was busy busy, the other standing by the phone doing nothing. I didn’t complain about the hotdog to the staff because it just didn’t seem worth it. I didn’t want to order anything else because my stomach was already getting upset. This place isn’t fancy. Plenty of seating and dog-friendly outside. They brought our dog a bowl of water, which we appreciated. Everything is served in paper or styrofoam, all plastic utensils, easy throw-away stuff. I doubt we’ll go back.

Trippin’ with the Southers
The burgers were delicious, especially after an afternoon of floating on the lake. We didn’t realize it was counter order but we didn’t mind, either. We ordered our burgers and sat outside at the picnic tables for an enjoyable meal. With 5 of us, there didn’t appear to be a table inside to fit us all. We will definitely be back for burgers!

So good, so sweet, so fast so genuine and DELICIOUS! We travel a ton and when you’re in a small town you kind of get what you get and you don’t throw a fit LOL. But the depot is so so good! We are going to be finding a reason to come back at least once a week or more when we’re in town. We’re here for the summer and we will 110% be back! The customer service exceeded expectations the speed efficiency and accuracy was so on point! I love to hear!

This Depot was great. First time ever in the town of Delores, CO. The food was amazing, I ordered the Double Cheese burger with fries and tha BBQ Sandwich burger was cooked to perfection and so was the BBQ sandwich. The hospitality was awesome and so were the towns people in side. Only problem is there is not one closer to my house (I live in Georgia) which gives me more of a reason to come back one day. Again thanks for everything definitely one of my favorites

The Depot is the second highest recommended grill in the area I could mention, and only second in that it has even less parking space (and, in this case, seating space). I judge any eating establishment, however, but flavor: It just plain has to have good food. This place has it. First I tried my old standby test, the patty melt. I have had many bad ones in my day. The patty melt was, to my mouth, near to perfect, properly on rye with a juicy patty and tender crisp fried onion. I have since tried other things from the menu and have yet to find a miss. But, tasting is believing. Don’t believe me. Go try for yourselves.

Celebrating 40 years in 2022! Congratulations to the Depot restaurant. Menu includes burgers/fries and burritos. Decor is fun and has an old fashion look. Easy to find and decent parking.
