This place is amazing! The restaurant was decorated beautifully, and it added to the ambiance. The food tasted amazing. The portion size was solid and very fulfilling. The service was outstanding, everyone was so kind. Most definitely would recommend the Conductor Burger or their Flatbreads.

Fantastic restaurant fantastic serving the food was amazing great coconut shrimp loved the grilled blackened mahi sandwich was absolutely amazing with their secret honey mustard sauce. Lasagna was really good too kind of had a southern twist taste. The inside of the restaurant was absolutely cool, trendy and awesome and they have a train that runs around on the inside. Definitely worth the drive.

This restaurant is amazing with incredible food. The owner’s are fantastic and great service too. I ordered the marcella chicken pasta and my spouse had the perfect fish and chips. I strongly recommend this restaurant.

It was such a neat place! Just a cool, hip, but elegant/nostalgic place. Food was good, we both got the lasagna special, came with a small salad, nothing fancy, but didn’t come with any bread,garlic or other wise. We had the chocolate bread pudding, it was hot and good but we couldn’t eat it all, it really needs a little ice-cream to cut the richness. But the kicker for us was how expensive it was, we didn’t see a price for the special but figured it’d be cheaper than the menu items but no! It was $16 for a piece of lasagna and a small salad, $4 for a tea. Nice for a splurge and it was very charming having the train go right by the windows as we ate..being that it’s the depot..LOL..

What an Amazing time last evening! Rosanna was our waitress and she did a phenomenal job! Very funny always on top of getting our refills and asking how things are and checking up on us. Made us laugh alot! Really enjoyed the experience! I got (the Conductor cheeseburger) and also had the broccoli and cheese soup and for dessert was a Keylime pie! Everything was made fresh and the homemade pie was Amazing! Can’t wait to come back and try the other food! 10 out of 5 stars if I it was available!!! Ya’ll won’t regret going here!

We had lunch at the Depot on Magnolia a couple weeks ago after my mother tried it first and came home raving about it. Every aspect of our visit was a hit. The old diner has been renovated and given new life with its gorgeous decor and wall art. The soup of the day was hot and tasty, the burgers and key lime BBQ chicken sandwich were delicious, and the desserts were lovely, too! The staff was great and the service was prompt and excellent. It often takes times for a new restaurant to find its bearings, but the Depot is managing very well. We look forward to many more lunches here in the future!

Mary and I had the true pleasure to enjoy a Friday lunch at a most unique place for dining in Ocala! We knew Terry and Matt (the owners) from their highly successful restaurant in West Palm Beach…. and they have transferred their love of serving the “best tasting” food to Ocala residents and visitors with the opening of The Depot on Magnolia. You really have to see and experience the “Depot” to believe it. The restaurant has been transformed with hand painted walls depicting clocks, trains, and unique assortment of decorations and an operating train (of course, it is a Depot). I had the Manhattan style Clam Chowder (full of vegetables and clams like mom used to serve) and a very fresh hearty chicken salad. I really was not that hungry, but so glad to eat great healthy tasty Depot fare. Mary had a similar salad and added fries for us to share! Definitely hit the spot! We got a chance to catch up a little with the owners, but they were working with the staff to make sure everyone was as happy as we were with their lunch! We will be back! There were a bunch of other entres on the menu I want to try. I was able to snap a couple of pictures of the comfortable inside space to share here (without interrupting other patrons)! Thank you Terry and Matt….see you again soon! The Depot at Magnolia definitely is truly a special place to dine in Ocala!!
