The food here is tasty and the service is friendly. Nice German and American options on the menu. The beers and cocktails were nice too. We sat inside, but on a warm day it seems like it would be fun ro eat outside.

Gave 5 stars after our first visit, but wanted to visit a few more times before describing. Now having had more off the menu, I can confirm 5 stars is appropriate. All of the appetizers have been great, Saurkraut Balls are our favorite. My wife loves the Schnitzel sandwich! The hot stones are an experience, but my favorite has been the Thur/Fri lunch special: Bratwurst with onions and peppers. The beer selection hasn’t let me down yet, and their specialty drinks have been amazing.

My husband and I visited this mom and pop restaurant because of the reviews posted. We were not disappointed! Our waitress Gabby was very sweet and attentive. The owners, Kim and her husband came by our table and made sure everything was to our liking. We got the sauerkraut balls and they were delicious. The ribeye steak on the hot stone was wonderful. Of course every bite was hot off the grill. The Brussel sprouts were tasty. We got the Apple strudel for dessert and it was authentic German Strudel. I don’t think you will be disappointed if you give this quaint little restaurant a try.

I had been wanting to try Der Heisse Stein for months but I did not even know about the hot stone entrees! This is a must! The menu is uncomplicated and everything we tried was delicious top to bottom. Service was top of the line. Can’t wait to take my friends.

So where to start. Tucked away outside Lawrenceburg, this is a gem. My wife had the raspberry walnut salad with the salmon. Huge piece of salmon and a fresh salad. She added the hot slaw because she likes it. We had the sauerkraut balls because they are a Cincinnati tradition. They were very good. I had the scallops and brussel sprouts with the Caesar salad. Just excellent. Scallops can be hit or miss and these were a home run. Good selection of beers and wine with a full bar. Only open a few months, but service is fantastic and just a wonderful setting. A few dollars more than the regular Lawrenceburg place, but so worth it. Give this place a try!

Worth a try if you intend to choose appetizers or hot stone items. Not my type of food options so I don’t feel like I can rate fairly.

Such a nice addition to Lawrenceburg. Highly recommend the schnitzel and leckel potatoes. Try to pick a nice evening and enjoy dinner out on the balcony or cute beer garden! Nice selection of draft German beers too!

Everything was absolutely delicious! I had the ribeye with asparagus and a salad (I don’t quite remember what it was called, but it had fresh goat cheese and it was phenomenal. Literally one of the best salads I’ve ever had) and a Hugo (recommended to me by the very friendly bartender) and a banana beer! It was fantastic! Loved the quaint atmosphere and the staff was very knowledgeable, polite, accommodating, and friendly. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The atmosphere is beautiful and comfortable. The service was perfect and friendly, and the food is authentic German. We will definitely go back and bring friends and family, it will be one of our favorite places to go now. You will love this restaurant. It is also a nice place to have cocktails or German beer , because they have a full bar.
