I am a frequent visitor here. This time I ordered online. Tip paid. But was asked another tip when picked up pizza. 15min delayed than the expected time. The worst part is pizza. Ordered Grandma Pie. Very different with the picture in the menu. Very small portion of mozzarella. No basil at all. I could see tiny powder sized basil.. it is a lying.. don’t do thi.

This Evanston pizza shop feels simultaneously new and hip while also feeling like a long-standing classic. The pizza is amazing, some of the best slices I’ve ever had! You can get pizza by the slice or pie, and they also have a gluten-free option that you wouldn’t even realize was gluten-free. The pizza and sandwich ingredients, craft beers, and hard cider are all local and carefully selected. I’m usually not big on sandwiches but the sandwiches here are so amazing! I’ve been eating them for lunch regularly now. There is soft serve oatly ice cream which is unique, dairy-free, and delicious.

Update: While we still love the pizza. We are now having to ask for no pepper as they have been adding A LOT of pepper to the point all you taste/smell sometimes is pepper.

This is like no other pizza I’ve ever tasted! Light and flavorful and don’t feel like your going to bust even after 3 of the big slices! Could easily eat here 3 or 4xs a week!!! There garlic knots are so soft and even better when dipped in there homemade ranch !!! There silverware and glasses were noticably spotless!!! Since eating here a yr ago,we haven’t ordered pizza from anywhere else and it will stay that way!

It’s not the worst pizza I’ve had. I guess that’s the only saving grace. But it’s bad. It brought back memories of the mall and Sbarro’s. Cheap, no cheese, sauce. Flimsy crust. I’m not sure what exactly they’re going for–New York thin; Detroit. It’s definitely not Chicago. Regardless of the style the taste was awful. And the wait. I asked for one slice of pizza. I figure when someone asks for ONE slice you heat it up and it’s ready to go. But this took 15 minutes. It wasn’t as if it was being prepared fresh. I didn’t expect it to be. So…what then? The whole experience was comical. I just…yeah. NO.

I had this pizza at my granddaughter’s birthday party in Lovelace park today. There’s no reason to ever go elsewhere for pizza!! It was delicious. I think I could have eaten way more than half a pie–it was so light and flavorful.
