Ordered takeout on a Saturday afternoon. Place was dead maybe 2 tables of people eating a late lunch. Food was done in a timely matter approx 20 mins from ordering. Unfortunately the food did not live up to the expectations and the other reviews I have seen. Ordered egg drop soup to start, it was ok a little flavorless and wish it had a little garnish or something. I also got the Chicken Lettuce Wraps Or Vegetarian Lettuce Wraps and was extremely disappointed. Was very wet and soggy and had a bunch of peas in it. Never have I ever gotten regular green peas in a lettuce wrap. Vegetarian fried rice was lackluster as well. Had absolutely no flavor and the same dreaded frozen bag of peas and carrots with an overwhelming amount of beansprouts. Overall disappointed and left with a flavorless ( seriously no salt or pepper ??) oily lunch.

The food I received was very poor quality. I ordered the bobo platter. All items tasted as if the meat was old, undercooked or about to turn bad. Same with the lemon chicken, it’s obviously old undercooked meat. The fried rice is very bland and has very little other than rice. I won’t be back. I left a pic of the lemon chicken, nothing like the online picture. It’s soggy, and the meat tastes sour.

Ordered takeout and the food was awful. The egg drop soup “Mongolian beef” (not like I’ve ever seen), sweet and sour chicken, and egg rolls were all bland and tasted weird. The fried rice tasted like it was sitting out for 10 hours. The extra sweet and sour sauce cups (if that’s what it even was) tasted and smelled off. Shockingly bad experience.

Heard great things and perhaps it was an off day. But service was horrible, food took a LONG time when they weren’t busy and while the sauces were tasty, the honey chicken wings when bit into were frozen cold, even though the outside was crispy.

I just moved to the area and was looking for good Asian cuisine. I was very impressed with Desert Jade’s atmosphere of the dining area. Service was fast and was 5 star’s fresh and hot. Best Is Chinese food in Phoenix. My new go to for Chinese food.
