Please switch back to real sauces! I used to eat here a lot, but the most recent time I got it I noticed that the sauces had been changed to something syrupy sweet artificial rather than real tamarind sauce. I only ate the top layer of my Chaat because the rest was drenched in what essentially tasted like corn syrup. Please don’t cut corners by going with cheapo artificial syrups instead of real sauces – it ruins the food!!

The lamb chaat is amazing!! I can’t wait to come back and have it again. Also had some watermelon juice that was just pure watermelon, it was delicious. The woman was so kind, making sure our food’s spice levels were adequate and offering to add any more spices if we wanted them. But everything was perfect! 🙂 Overall lovely little place to grab a quick delicious affordable meal!

The Chaat is so delicious and such a good price! Also, lots of good vegan and vegetarian options. Not a lot of seating, it’s more of a hole-in-the-wall, take out vibe. The staff was really friendly. My partner and I had an amazing take out dinner with leftovers for $25. Highly recommend.

The best chat in all of Philadelphia. The staff was very friendly and suggested that I put the yougart and sauces in a cup where I could mix at home since I was ordering take out. Great suggestion. I savored every bite and crunch. Thanks Sir. I will always stop in for take out whenever I visit Philadelphia, because it is a must have!!!

I’ve been to this place 4 times and have loved the food every time! The first time I got the vegetarian samosas with the spicy mint green sauce. They are AMAZING and that sauce is some of the best green sauce I’ve ever had! The 3rd time I went, I got a Chaat. I forget the name of it but it is a curry Chaat. I will admit, I was hesitant because it’s a cold dish. I’ve never had cold curry before. Let me tell you! It was soooo good!

The first thing I noticed when walking inside was the putrid smell, which prompted me to look around for mouse droppings. Next, the menu mentions gluten free versions of certain dishes, which when I asked for the worker did not understand, citing her poor English. She was nice which is the only reason I didn’t give this 1 star. But if there is an entire gluten free menu then I expect at a minimum that when I order from it, and even point to the “without wheat” on the menu, that the first thing scooped into my to go container would not be bread. I was wrong.
