This is my new favorite Indian restaurant in the area even though my enormous appetite and I generally prefer buffets. They have an extensive menu of vegetarian and non vegetarian options. The portions, especially for dosai and biryani, are gargantuan! But most importantly, the spice levels are on point for South Indian food, including the fantastic biryani rice itself. I could happily eat this food every day if my budget allowed for daily restaurant meals. Note: don’t come eat here if you’re in a hurry. This fabulous food takes time and is completely worth the wait!

Desi Kitchen has really delicious food. We could feel the freshness of the vegetables in the paneer kebab we ordered. But apart from the yummy food, everything else was horrible. The delivery was slow. There was an onion peel in our food. Our table wasn’t clean. There was peeling on the walls. The waiters messed up our order and we had to wait more ON TOP of the extra long wait. We ordered 2 coffees, one was hot and one was cold. Your choice – good food or good ambiance and service.

Came the first time the service was great the Gobi Manchurian was seven dollars made a video came back not more than a month later the only thing that changed pricing on the menu is the Gobi Manchurian which was written in to $10 still not bad but the service was horrible. I waited about 15 minutes for someone to even give me a menu no one came.

When they said good that it was!!! We like trying new places/foods and the naan bread was AMAZING!! We had their non veg dish and it was good! A I got to try a little bit of everything and even got a dessert with it. My hubby got their goat special and he loved it! It’s a really small quint place my only complaint is they could have explained the menu to use better after we told him we’re new to Indian food but everything we order was great and the goat special he recommended was 5 stars for my hubby

My husband an I eat at Desi about 3 times a week because it is the best Indian food we have eaten. Our favorites are Samosas, tandoori chicken, masala Dosa, sandbar soup, wonderful naan and very very reasonably priced. Butter chicken and balsamic rice is to die for. Service is fantastic and very clean. Bob and Brenda Taylor

The food was good but the nan was both raw and burnt. The place really deserves 3 stars but the nan was that bad. Great serving potions, great flavors, great service but the nan ruined it all for me. The pistachio ice cream was a good desert. When I go back and the nan is better i will chane the rating.

I’m not sure if there’s a minimumamount of chicken etc that a restaurantmust add to a sauce to be legally permitted to call it a chicken dish, but these clowns use the ABSOLUTE MINIMUM. I found THREEpiecesof what I assume as chicken, all about the size of a quarter, in my mush curry dish. Obviously the dish was packed with cheap veggies, which is all well and good, but just hold your head up and be honest, call it a VEGGIE dish!!!! If the food wasn’t bad enough, the attitude of the woman who greeted me and eventually served me and grunted the amount owed (after she had disappeared for a good 10 minutes asI waited for the check) was somewherebelow contemptible. Maybe she just doesn’t like Caucasians, (which is permittedin America – you’re just not allowed to dislikeblack and brown people – hatingCaucasiansis just fine!!). She should not worry though, becausethis was a one and done, If they promisedme a free dinner every night for a year, I would still go elsewhere. YMMV. You decide, but you have been warned!!!
