First off Carson our waiter was on point!The staff is just as amazing as the bbq! Was the first time for the wife and I, but definitely not the last! Can’t wait to go back! The red beans and rice with the fried chicken was mouthwatering goodness! The wife’s pulled pork plate with the baked beans was amazing as well! The flashed fried onion rings along with the honey bacon butter cornbread! Unbelievable!!

Really good looking restaurant. Good service, but the food, really disappointed. We had a variety but didn’t enjoy any of it. Both BBQ sauces had a strange beer taste to them. The onion ring dipping sauces had the weird BBQ sauce in it also so… Brisket was mostly fat. The ribs was all fat. Whatever wood they used to smoke with must have not been dried out yet, still green and gave all the meats a bad flavor in my opinion. Even the turkey wasn’t good. Greens and cornbread was pretty much tasteless. Macaroni and cheese was nothing special either. Reminded me of Piccadilly with cayenne. Was disappointed in what is supposed to be a high end BBQ place. Now I know why we didn’t have to wait to get a seat when it should have been a busy time. They need to taste what is coming out of the kitchen daily.

This is an extention of the main Desi Steak House of Nola and Covington but with a more casual setting and food options. The atmosphere and space is open and decorated trendy. They serve pizzas, sandwiches, etc. It’s a decent addition to Mandeville especially being several eateries have closed. It is moderately expensive. Service was great. Food was ok. Crowd was social. Would recommend if you haven’t checked them out yet and or looking for something fresh in the Mandeville area. ⭐️

We tried it for the first time Sunday. I had the 2 meat combo and my Dad had the double cut pork chop. We loved every aspect of our experience from the atmosphere, the service, and the food. Everything was perfect. Someone hit the nail on the head with the planning of every detail of this concept. You get the feel that you are at a backyard barbecue but in a classy restaurant. The placemats, the cornbread in cast iron, the glasses that resemble a red solo cup if it was clear and glass instead of red plastic, the candle lit lanterns… Great Job. I had only one recommendation for an opportunity of improvement but everything else was so perfect that it doesn’t even really matter. I can’t wait to return!

Great looking place. Wife and I sat at the bar. It took 30 minutes to get a drink sitting at the bar. We had to tell them we were eating at the bar. Asked for water. Never brought them. Had to remind him. Ordered an app sat with empty drinks. Had to tell them we wanted another. Never got to put an entree order in. Felt as if we were the only ones not being served at. Everyone else around us was asked if they were going to eat, got menus, refills, water and food all without asking. We kept getting skipped over. Our one night without kids and wanted to sit and enjoy ourselves and had to beg for everything we got. Ended up going to another restaurant and had an amazing steak with great service.
