This was a great surprise! We were in Shipshewana, Indiana to meet some friends and do some flea marketing and realized we couldn’t get a beer in that town, so we searched around for a place that we could have dinner and drinks that was dog friendly as we have our faithful Memphis Minnie with us on this trip. Destination 814 was perfect! They have over 200 whiskeys and lots of beers! It was our version of heaven. The food was outstanding, as was the service. We will be back and highly recommend this place.

We got the breaded mushrooms, which were very good. They have a light batter, and the mushrooms are big. I had the garlic chicken. It was two breasts, so I had leftovers. It was really juicy and tasty! My husband had the slaw burger. They source their beef locally. The pattie was a good size, thick and juicy. The menu has a variety of interesting food choices, and they make handcrafted cocktails.

We had a large group and the waitress was amazing! She handled our drink, appetizer, and entrée orders without even blinking an eye. The food was all absolutely delicious, too. In addition I tried the Margarita flight and a regular Margarita and enjoyed it all.

A bit pricey, but the food is delicious and worth it! I got the chicken fries, and the chicken was perfectly cooked! I wasn’t able to order drinks because of pregnancy, but everyone else at the table loved theirs. The space was clean and it was a fun atmosphere.

If you’re visiting the Shipshewana area, be sure to hop on over to LaGrange and eat at Destination 814. It was amazing! From the warm welcome, to the knowledgeable and fun staff, to the up-beat atmosphere, this place is top-notch! The lobster dip was yummy!

This was the perfect place if your looking for a lively atmosphere with great food. We ordered from the special of the day menu and had the corn elote, herb chicken and short rib. All of which were fantastic. The bar busy making drinks and was on point. Would highly recommend if your looking for good quality, much higher food quality than your typical bar food.

Having lived in Los Angeles, Austin, Minneapolis, and now Louisville (which is becoming a foodie city of its own right?), I was pleasantly surprised to experience a restaurant of this caliber in such a small community in northern india. Great service, great food, great bourbon, and the like. The only small negative is that it’s noisy when full, which it was when we were there. Definitely worth a visit and many return visits!

This is a great venue in a small town! They had a great selection of drinks and their food is amazing. Our server had a great sense of humor and her service was excellent. The Only complaint I have is that it is a very small place.
