My toast was very cold almost frozen still my biscuits were not cooked all the way and cold and doughy the hashbrowns was not cooked long enough. The owner/manager says he will give me a discount on my order my discount was $3.00 off my total bill. I barely even ate any of the food. My brother had the French toast and said it was delicious.

The place was almost empty for a Sunday at 11 am, and now I know why… The initial vibe we got was unwelcoming. My omelette was cold and like MUSH. My toast looked like it had been frozen and then left out to thaw. We had to wave down the waitress for coffee and NOT ONCE did anyone come around to check on us. The manager had food stains on his shirt & kept grumbling to himself and it was a bit creepy. My practically untouched plate of slop should have been an indicator that our meal wasn’t up to par, however the waitress never asked nor did she even ask if we wanted a to-go box. Overall, the place felt dirty and unkept, served us awful breakfast and needless to say we will never go back.

If I could give zero stars that’s what it would be. I do not recommendthis place. Better service. Maybe next time don’t tell us to go to mcdonald’s when my order wasn’t done right. I waited while my family ate for my lunch and when they were done eating my food came out. When it came out I had 3 slices of bacon on my BLT that wasn’t even done after asking for crispy.

We were traveling for a church retreat in Shipshewana. We had breakfast. My husband ordered the steak breakfast special, and I had the corned beef hash skillet. Everything was delicious but the steak was not prepared well. We had plenty of food for the price though. The eggs were cooked to perfection. His were scrambled, that’s easy enough, but mine were over easy, slightly runny. Again, they were perfect. The steak was could have used a bit more seasoning and seemed steamed or baked, and I prefer biscuits with sausage gravey with my corned beef hash, and they don’t serve biscuits individually. I would suggest NOT getting the steak. ***UPDATED My husband didn’t tell me the whole truth about his steak until after my initial review.

I would not go here the food was not good. You should put on the menu if things are deep-fried in the same thing with fish because it is an allergy and then when we asked about it the manager had no idea what the country fried steak was fried in. The manager was giving us a bad attitude and we were just trying to get answers. The country fried steak was not good at all. And my son had get a burger instead of country fried steak because they couldn’t figure out if they fried it in the same oil as the shrimp and fish the waitress was very kind that was the best part about that restaurant

Had breakfast. Place has done a complete 180 with new owners. We were greeted by a hostess(not a busy waitress) and seated right way. Waitress was on the ball with taking order and getting order out to us. Was checked on multiple times by waitress and hostess. Food was great and can’t wait to come back and try lunch. RIP cosmos

1st off let’s just say the owner took a chance at this spot knowing the past owners. Took my mom and daughter out to breakfast to give them a chance and I must say it’s was delicious. Friendly staff. Price isn’t bad for the portions.
