This place is the real deal Detroit all the way. The pizza was awesome, the edges were super crispy and the flavors were amazing. This was one of my favorite Detroit style pizzas. If there was one flavor I did not like it was their MARGHERITA, but the rest were top notch. The cheese bread was also Detroit style and fantastic. Wish them the best, great pizza.

First time ordering. I ordered the Harper Hornet large square and added bacon. It wasn’t good. My fiancé told me to toss it after my son said he also didn’t like it. The sauce that they drizzled on it was just honey, didn’t have any kind of sizzle to it as expected. The pizza tasted like a cheap oven pizza. I wouldn’t recommend it but I would also say check it out. The guy that worked 05-27-2023 was super nice and professional. Wish I could remember his name and give him a shout out for keeping his composure while working alone all day.

We have ordered from Detroit Style Pizza many times and it’s really good! The deep dish pizza, cheese bread, and salads are great. My only complaint is they aren’t open on Mondays and don’t open until 2 pm.

Order from here regularly and they are not the cheapest but a solid regular pie. I got this bbq chicken pizza which has the nastiest suace that taste like mustard and garlic. They do not indicate on the website it is not regular bbq sauce. Way too many flavors in the wrong places. I called to order a new pie and asked if they would waive the deliver fee as this was $22 and the delivery charge . They are a few blocks away but I cannot leave. They said no it’s not our fault, but I felt it was as bbq sauce is not usually mustard and garlic and yellow. I said let’s meet in the middle on this and they said no we would rather loose a customer then lose money on a delivery charge. Business school 101 skipped I see. Not going here again. You lost a few hundred a month from my family .

This place has the best Detroit style pizza period. It is cooked to perfection. Ordering is also seamless and timely. You must try the Margherita In The D, it is an experience. I am also so sorry for the family’s personal loss. Shawn was a treasure for our State and a pizza legend. Worth every penny. Please open a location in Grosse Pointe!
