Nestled inside the Cambria hotel I had no idea that this place even existed. Stopped in one late night after enjoying some live music on the rooftop. There wasn’t much left at this time of night but Allie hooked me up something! She was very kind and patient. And once I got home and had to share my I wish I had of gotten more! It was so delicious! And she told me it was after I frowned because that’s all they had left! I will definitely return! Make sure you stop in and check them out!

They know they’re wrong for not filling these 2 tacos up for 15 dollars. I can’t say that I won’t come back based off convenience but if I’m in the mood to be a little bit inconvenienced, I will continue to go to Detroit Loves Tacos.

The tacos was half full, and very bland. “fried shrimps” are boiled shrimp, chicken tacos were dry. The menu stated corn tortillas, however, they came out as flour tortillas. Paid extra for guacamole for two meals, and none of the tacos had them. rice and beans were unseasoned. it was absolutely not worth the money. on a bright note, the service was great, and everyone was friendly, and the churros was great. They just need better chefs or recipes.

I placed an online order, apparently into the ether? After waiting an hour I called to ask the status, and neither hotel nor restaurant staff could find a record of it. Since it had vanished, I tried instead to place the order directly over the phone… Another hour later when I hangrily called to ask where the order was, the restaurant referred me to the hotel desk who referred me back to the restaurant. Apparently it sat on the heater while nobody bothered to get ahold of me at the twice provided room number to say that for some undeterminable reason, they couldn’t charge the card on file.

The food tasted super good. Is it worth the price? Not completely. Is the location convenient? For me it is. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here (I live walking distance to the Troy location and never felt the need to go), but it is convenient to my work and the smashwrap did taste good.
