I really don’t know how anyone can give this place less than 5 stars! We are just in for a wedding and my husband already said we are coming back before we leave. The morals inside are absolutely beautiful! Everything looks super clean and fresh. I had the pork nachos and my husband had the pork quesadilla. Both were delicious, but y’all! This salsa pictured was on fire! I normally hate mangos but I ate the hell out of it! If you have the chance you have to try it!

I was so bummed the one in Warren closed but I was in the area and couldn’t wait to have their chicken quesadillas. They are a little pricey (10.99) for the portion, but still delicious. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for something quick and yummy.

Detroit Taco Company is mediocre. I could’ve done with more seasoning and spice on the tacos. The chicken tacos were super bland and tasted like nothing. The beef and the pork tacos were decent. The cilantro and the corn tortillas saved them. The Smashwrap was good, but could’ve done with more seasoning and spice. The queso was the best-seasoned item we had. It was excellent. The chips were also excellent. They were fresh and crunchy. The staff was kind and friendly, but it took about 20 minutes for our food to arrive. I think that’s way too long for the product that we received.

Detroit Taco provided a good tasting shredded chicken taco. I ordered the street 3 pack, city style. The chicken had a good marinade and remained moist. Each taco was rolled up in a double corn tortilla, but it wasn’t doubled up like most places. It was overlapped so sized slightly bigger than a traditional street size. The location was clean and not busy about 2pm when I arrived.

I bought one Detroit style shredded chicken taco just to see what it was all about. I was presently surprised on the size and how it actually filled me up. I really liked the double shell with the soft outside and the crunch inside with the hard shell. The place is so colorful, they did not miss one corner with an opportunity for design.
