The service is fantastic, very friendly the shop was clean, and the individuals working were very knowledgeable about their products. The chicken figures were ok – think medium end fingers, the wings were well cooked, but the sauces all tasted a little too much like butter. Even the breading on the chicken fingers tasted… buttery. They don’t have fountain sodas so you have to buy individual cans or bottles of water – not great. The fries are on the thicker side and have the same buttery fry taste. Mac and cheese is home style and very cheesy. And lastly the corn bread is TINY.

Two visits and disappointed each time. The Bang Bang Mac was syrupy sweet, completely dry, not spicy at all. It was all cooked in sauce and clumps of cheese. The Sriracha panko made it acidic and even dryer. The Buffalo Chicken dip was okay but also not spicy, I had to add Frank’s when I got home. Both came in a 12oz container; they are sides, not meals, which was surprising for the cost.

So I’m torn. I wanted a nice sit down lunch, what I got was a delicious, large portioned yet kinda expensive meal packaged to go. Ranch was an extra charge. Soda was by the can, no fountain drinks at all. So I think they want to be a to-go place with a few chairs and tables for those that want to eat fresh hot food from to-go containers. Lol definitely be back because the sauces were great, fries were perfect, but I’ll plan on taking it to go and paying a premium for it.

Ordered a 10 pc boneless wing meal: 5 with honey chipotle sauce & 5 with asian orange. My dinner was terrific — the wings were huge & it wasn’t all breading. My fries were well cooked, too, not soggy & not overcooked. Drinks were only Faygo by the can or bottled water. Only real negative was that the carrots & celery were obviously cut several days ago — were dry & brown. Had only a few tables when we arrived at 7 pm, but quickly filled up by 8.

The restaurant itself was nice and well-kept, the staff was very friendly, but the food was not the best. The wings were seasoned well, but they were way too crunchy and too battered. The fries were ok, mostly soggy. Overall I just wasn’t impressed with it, a little too pricey for what I got.

We orders a meal for 4 to go. There was more than enough food and we had leftovers! Quite a bit of food for a decent price! We really enjoyed all 3 wing sauces that we chose and thought the wings were the best we’ve had! The Cajun Parmesan was amazing!!! We also loved the fries, coleslaw and corn muffins. The macaroni and cheese was okay, better with a little Cajun Parmesan sauce! As soon as we got home, we discovered some missing items. Before I had the chance to call, the store manager called and was very apologetic and worked with us to make it right. We will definitely be back!

Decor is minimal, corn bread is cold, they give you your order to go even if you plan on dining in, and the wings are average at best. Before I had experienced all this, they ask you for a tip before you’re even served. Tips are for quality service, not to fund a charity for service workers because their bosses don’t pay them enough. Skip Detroit Wing Company.

Food. Looks great. Potato salad has no flavor. And the wings are Jumbo wings with sauce poured on top. So basically all you tasting is plain chicken once you bite into it. If you are going to sell jumbo wings they need to figure out how to get that flavor through to the bone. I’m from the south so got to say it’s been good food in Michigan but I still haven’t found a good wing place. Not to mention they are WAAAY overpriced. Thanks for the meal but I won’t be returning.

Had the 10 Bone-In Wing combo. Parm-Garlic and Creole-Garlic housemade sauces were fantastic. Wings were very good size, tender, and juicy. Fries are good, too. I was the only one eating inside on a Monday around 6pm, but a lot of people came in for carry out orders. One drawback, as stated by others, only can soda or bottled water. No fountain soda. Knowing this, I brought my own fountain soda.

Cute little spot right by campus. Food was fresh and tasted great. The girl at the counter was really nice. The tables and floors were all really clean. It didn’t take long for our order to come out. Really close to a parking garage too which was nice.
