Chicken tenders were good but didn’t stand out from anywhere else you could get them. Fried shrimp was good, and the crabcakes were amazing. Corn and red potatoes lacked taste. I loved the atmosphere and being right on the water. I would return to try other things on the menu.

Fresh seafood on the dock at the harbor. It doesn’t get any better than this! If you want fresh seafood straight from the Gulf to the kitchen, this is your place. We loved it! We got there about 5:45 on Friday night and there was no wait.

We are locals and enjoy coming here! The food is always cooked fresh and you cant beat the view of crab island. If your in town visiting, I highly recommend stopping at Dewey Destin! You wont be disappointed!

Great fried and grilled seafood! I was especially partial to scallops and shrimp. Clearly the kitchen knows what it’s doing. Outdoor seating is the most atmospheric one: rustic tables under umbrellas on old piers. The place is popular and it can be hard to park.

This was a neat place for a casual dinner following a day at Crab Island. The crab cakes basket were a little dry but the house dip added a nice flavor. The crab dip was a delicious creamy appetizer served with Ritz crackers. My husband ordered the Gumbo and said it was delicious, along with his Snapper sandwich. Definitely worth the stop for a good meal.

Place on the water looking to the west so we stopped in for a late dinner. Food is excellent and the atmosphere is so great. There continued to be a line even late at night. Sunset over the water was beautiful .

I was told about this place by 3 different locals for fresh seafood and I will say all 3 were right. Food was outstanding, servers were outstanding, and the view was gorgeous! It’s like a hole in the wall type local place but looked like everyone already knew about it. Had two docks with tables to eat at so it was just lovely at night and as nice in the day. Yes, it was that good I had to try it twice on one trip to ensure the first one wasn’t a fluke. You walk in order your food and go have a seat. Someone comes out yelling your name brings your food and you eat at your own pace. That’s about the extent of interaction with servers. You can also get it to go if you were tired and just wanted to go but you will miss out on the atmosphere.

We went to the original Dewey Destin’s off of Calhoun on the recommendation of locals. It was amazing! You sit at tables out on docks so you’re on the water right across from Crab Island. Food was AMAZING! You can taste that it’s super fresh.

The service was great but the food was just meh. The fried fish was okay but not really too flavorful. The corn cobs were both over cooked and did not taste fresh. I wanted to love the food because everyone is so nice but I’d likely not eat here again. Nice scenery but the food is very mid.
