Customer Beware Made the Mistake of Ordering 2 Dexter BBQ Sandwiches with Slaw Takeout Around 4PM To Go. When I got home I Noticed Both Sandwiches wappers were wet and they fell apart when I unwrapped them and the BBQ fell out? I Notice the Bread on The Bottom Sides of both sandwiches was not even toasted? Guess That Was Optional? Thus became soggy when the cole slaw soaked the bread. Doesn’t Take A Rocket Scientist To Fix This Issue So Much For Common sense and my Meal? So, I called and talked with Chris (Store Front Manager?) Explained What Happened and He Said, “That Happens All The Time?” You Would Think If That Happens All The Time They Would Do Something about It And Rectify This Issue? But Noooo. All You Have To do is Toast the bread both sides (where the slaw is applied) so it does not get soggy and fall apart. Common sense but it didn’t seem to phase Chris which irritated me as his fix was for me to drive back over and he personally would make the sandwiches? Guess he does not realize I Live out in the Fruitland area 30 miles round trip What is sad, I have been a Dexter Customer for over 13 years. They make great BBQ but what kills the deal is Poor Attitude & Customer Service? So Much For This Place.

Loved the ribs, somehow it’s quicker to get food here than it is to get at fast food restaurants. And with their prices recently, I think this is a way better deal than fast food. I would say the sides are a bit pricey compared to the main meats, but so be it. The brisket is quite delicious!

I loved their BBQ. I wish they were in Tennessee. I especially like the way you ordered and seated yourself. They got our food to us very fast and I tried all of their sauces. I will be glad when they get their online store open.

It’s the first time I went into a Dexter’s BBQ, in Cape Girardeau. As usual, because we visit the one in Farmington the food was very good the service was very good actually the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was okay. I don’t know what I was expecting for atmosphere but I don’t know it just seemed kind of empty. Anyway all in all Dexter’s seems to always have good food.
