First time here… I would rate it as being ok and average. Prices are a bit higher for what you actually get. I asked the lady to SUB turkey for the prosciutto in the Italian Grinder. She looked agitated by my request. Upon getting my receipt I noticed she charged more to ADD turkey and charged me to add honey mustard (that I did not ask for). The line was pretty long and everyone was going 100mph that I just lets things be. Upon getting the food, I noticed there to be a small amount of deli meat and THICK slices of bread. (I dislike nothing more than a food item that is ALL bread). The bread on the 2 cold sub sandwiches were hard to bite into and chewy. The philly was pretty good — again, a lack of meat, but pretty tasty. I probably won’t be back, but, it was certainly worth a try. Maybe I just went at the wrong time?

Food was ok… i ordered an Italian grinder and asked the clerk if they had pepper relish, he immediately became visibly angry and almost looked shocked that I was asking to add one item to my sandwich. The meat and cheese were high quality but there was very little of it and the sandwich was predominantly bread and tasted pretty plain. As someone that’s lived in New York this wasn’t it for me

The food is really good and the prices are reasonable. The problem is with the wait time, forty minutes for a sandwich. The lady taking orders said it was going to be a wait time but I never expected this much time. I noticed that the grill person, a young man, couldn’t with the pace of the orders. The older guy doing the sandwiches kept helping the younger man in the grill but then the younger guy kept moving stations and not stay in his position. I then noticed that he put cheese on my sandwich when I ask without cheese, the older guy noticed and told him and the younger guy didn’t know what to do. They need to retrain their workers to keep up with this kind of fast pace because their wait times would be lower than forty minutes.

Got the Spicy Melt and it was on point. My girl got the Isotope Club and it was just as good.

A great sandwich shop my mom introduced me to years ago. I rarely stop by anymore, however when I do the sandwiches taste like I remember. I especially appreciate all the Eddie posters hanging on the wall.

Decided to try this after seeing it on the map being near where I had to pick something up from someone. What a little treasure! Quality ingredients, a huge selection, reasonable prices and very fast. I had the #7 and the #20 and both were wonderful. Such good meat, plenty of condiments, and the bread is utterly delicious. We’ll be back in a couple days to get more for a picnic. Cute Rock-style decor and they deliver. highly recommended!

I had the grinder. It was a dam good sandwich. Also brought my 15-year-old daughter, who doesn’t really like anything. But she loved the vibe and the food. So win win DG Deli, thank you for the amazing food and atmosphere!
