I tried the taco of the month, which was grilled bison, sweet potato puree, persimmon chimichurri over crispy potatoes and candied pepitas. Absolutely delicious and a fresh take on traditional tacos! If you get the plate option, it comes with their savory rice and beans topped with fresh diced veggies. Great service and atmosphere.

We both got the taco plate which comes with a rice, bean, kale mixture on the side. There are many tacos to choose from but the earth, wind, and fire taco was my favorite. The plate was very filling leaving us satisfied. The persons working there were friendly and quick to greet us. The tables and chairs were clean as was the rest of the restaurant. Highly recommend.

This place is Fort Collins at it’s best. It’s a funky hole in the wall. It’s small and it’s in an alley, so for best results, ride your bike and go on a sunny day and sit outside.

We went here for lunch for Mother’s day. The customer service was average and the gentleman taking our order was super friendly. There were a variety of options for food, but not much on drinks. We each got 3 tacos and I made it a combo with rice and beans. I had the carne asado, chipotle shredded beef, and the bandito taco. The chipotle one was very salty, but if you look past the salt it tasted good. The bandito did not really have much of a taste at all except for the burnt cheese bits. My favorite was the carne asado one. I was only able to get 3 bites of the rice bean mixture down because it was more salt than food. Parking is very tight and if it would have been busy you couldn’t park close. Overall this was an ok a e to eat. Not bad, not good. I think I may go to fuzzys tacos instead for better flavor.

Awesome little local taco shop. Street tacos are really good. Two are enough for a hungry adult. The kids loved the quesadillas. We also had the fish tacos, Thai chicken and Bandido (all pictured). All were tasty. The quesadilla chips are a must as well!

Tried several tacos. Cajun were the best. The chips and salsa were incredible. Staff was great.

Great place to eat! Was very clean and the staff was friendly. I ordered the fish tacos and they are the best that I’ve had in Fort Collins so far! Definitely a place I’d want to go to again. Only issue was finding a parking spot but that’s not unusual for downtown Fort Collins.

On my hunt to find Mexican food that tastes as delicious as what I’d find in California… this place takes the bottom of my list. No flavor. The beans and rice had kale in it? Not sure what that’s about. The carne asada tacos were dry and missing something. The food was good quality in terms of ingredients… but overall just not prepared enough in a way I’d expect.

Only complaint is that I brought my kids who hated every drink option…My friend Jay owns a taco place in Baton Rouge (Gov’t Taco), where we are from, so I am always on the prowl for great tacos and cool tacos around the country to tell him about…These were great, but I will say, coming from Cajun Country in Louisiana, not much Cajun about the taco but it was definitely good, just not Cajun!

There’s a reason why it’s called “Damn Good Tacos” – a humble, yet mighty little fusion joint with delicious burritos and tacos, pescatarian/vegetarian options and housemade tortillas.
