Besides the dialog, the food was great! It’s what you’d expect from Indian food!! I COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THE LANGUAGE BARRIER AND MORE ABOUT THE TASTE. I KNOW REVIEWS MATTER BUT GIVE IT A SHOT! I DON’T THINK YOU’LL BE DISAPPOINTED!

Shocked to see so many negative reviews, honestly. My SO got lamb vindaloo and a mango lassi from this cart and thought it was an absolute banger of a meal. It looked great to me—really thick, rich sauce and lots of nice, juicy looking chunks of lamb with a healthy portion of fluffy rice. Great price and portion because he had some to take home for later, as he could not finish the whole thing! I watched him get his order taken and the guy at the counter seemed lovely.

Lamb wrap had good flavor, but lamb was very tough and not chewable. Fed it to our dog, who was lying under table and voiced no complaints

I’ve definitely had way better. Very average. Chicken tikka masala was the runniest I’ve ever seen and very mild flavor, as in no spice. But the chicken is tender and well cooked. And I’ve never had the cheese & spinach be in an orange sauce instead of the cheese being in all spinach, thus the dish being entirely green. At least that has a little spice to it. Being that it’s the only place with $10-12 dishes instead of $16-20 each, I guess it’s ok. But I like insanely spicy food so it might be better if there had been a way to request extra spicy. At least I had an Uber Eats promo that paid for the food & I only had to tip the driver who was excellent!

I work in the area and pop by to the food cart pods fairly frequently. Lately I’ve been getting a Mango Lassi as a treat, and grabbing a few bites of something while I’m at Dhaba. Lovely little Halal spot, and the gentlemen that takes your order is always so sweet.

Ordered from the Nob Hill location early on a Saturday, before most other carts were open. Wildly inattentive person took our order. When we finally got it, the food was… palatable, the way food-court food is palatable. It won’t kill you, but you won’t like it.

When I first tried to buy lunch here on Monday they had no power so I don’t know why the cart was even open.

I used to eat here all the time about a year ago and was disappointed to see the negative reviews this place had gotten in that time. I tried it out again a few months back and unfortunately understood why it was getting so many negative reviews.
