The restaurant was very clean and it was fun to meet the owners and find out Its a family owned business! The cheese pizza was good as was the pepperoni pizza but the Sicilian was not my favorite. I wasn’t blown away by the taste of any of the three but would definitely come back.

This place is very clean and the pizza pie is a generous size. However, the taste is somewhat bland. The sauce could have more tomato flavor and the mozzarella could be of higher quality. The crust of thin and crunchy, but the dough needs more hydration. Toscano’s (the old Alfredo’s, which was the old Frank’s) still reigns supreme in Westbury.

We ordered from here through DoorDash, and I have to say all of their food was excellent. I have to compliment the linguine with red clam sauce in particular, that’s my favourite dish, I’ve been eating it for over thirty years, and it’s the best I’ve ever had.

I ordered a pie, and had them deliver to my hotel room. I was told it would take 30 to 45 minutes; one hour later I called to complain, as I still had not received it. They told me they were running behind, but as my hotel was only 1 mile away from their location, I would have it in 10 or 15 minutes; 30 minutes later I called again to complain, as I still had not received my pizza. This time they told me it had already been delivered! I said that was not possible, as I had been sitting in my room waiting for the pizza. They said, “sorry, it was delivered.” So I ordered a pizza, paid for it in advance, never got the pizza, and they refused to refund me the money! They said their hands were tied, as the delivery app they use for deliveries SLICE, were the only ones who could issue the refund. I called SLICE, they put me on hold, and they called Di Carlo’s. Di Carlo’s refused to give me the refund, and SLICE told me that without DiCarlo’s approval, they could not issue a refund. Never again will I order from such dishonest people. Be careful when you order through delivery: Chances are you will pay for the food in advance and will never get it.
