Ordered on the phone. Told us 30 minutes, wound up about 50 minutes. Food was very good. They have a small and large sandwich. This is the small, lol. Plenty of food for sure. Service is slow but the food is good.

Coming from New York. They have the best sandwich’s compared to what you can find in Philly. I’m putting them at the level of Max and Jim’s steaks. The chopped cheeseburger hoagie is amazing for the price. Every sandwich I have tried is always consistent and amazing. They keep their same staff that is warm and welcoming. They have lindens cookies that notoriously started in NY and was a staple in public schools. I absolutely recommend this place

5 Stars are not enough. Wow! Wow! Wow! After so many attempts to find that special umph that makes your taste buds jump, ladies and gentlemen I surrender. OMG! my young son echoed! 40 years it has been since my last visit to the East Coast and Diconstanzas has not shorted the effort. Everything, and I do mean everything was SUPERB! I truly do not know what else could be done to make a Cheese Steak any better. The prep, the roll, the grilled onions, the peppers, the tomatoes whew! Diconstanzas, the originator of the Italian sandwich! Hands down, THE ABSOLUTE BEST!
