Di Fara Pizza in Cary is a slice of Brooklyn in North Carolina! As a New Yorker, I was a little skeptical about trying a “Brooklyn-style” pizza joint outside of the city. But man, was I pleasantly surprised!

Went on a Friday night and we were lucky to be seated outdoors right away, even though they had a couple large parties! Staff is extremely friendly. I had the aperol sunset and we split the Chaos Pie – would highly recommend both! It was a great casual (not inexpensive though) dinner. The menu is simple, but if you’re looking for great no-frills pizza, this is the spot for you.

First time visiting. A foodie I trust reccommended it. As someone who used to live in NYC, having great pizza right here at Home in NC was a huge treat. Will eat in next time for sure. I’m told the Calzones and Margherita pies are reeeeeeally good as well! Definitely going back.

Have always wanted to stop by this establishment in downtown Cary. This establishment is located within a plaza and tucked away in a corner, with little parking to be had. I’ve been told this spot has a great atmosphere for dinner/games ( friends were right :D). Came by for lunch on an off day, so wasn’t very busy at all. Seated and ordered within 5 minutes, ordered the Chaos Pizza pie (36$) & some drinks for roughly 70$ total. I will admit, this was a bit unexpected for what we ordered – but the pizza was ABSOLUTELY delicious/ worth it.

I had tried Di Fara a couple of times before and it was just OK… definitely NOT authentic NY style but.. OK, nothing to write home about. I rarely feel like having pizza., but tonight I had a craving for a slice of regular cheese pizza. My son and I were driving through downtown Cary so we went to pick up at DiFara. I stayed in the car and he went in and got us each a slice to go. My first mistake was not checking what we got in that box until we got home. This tiny slice was burnt, flat as cardboard, dry and not even edible. A small bit went to my dog, and the rest in the thrash. Fortunately I had only gotten one slice, so only wasted $4 and change, but I am so disappointed! I gave one star for service because how could an employee have thought it was fine to hand us this burnt cardboard triangle, passing it off as pizza? I don’t even think there was any cheese on this thing. Truly shameful. My second mistake was going to DiFara’s to begin with. This will be my family’s last time there. Would have done better with a frozen pizza. (All the dark spots you see in the photos are BURNS by the way. Even my dog didn’t want it).

I’ve read most of the reviews about this pizza spot. We were just looking for a good high end pizza place and this came up as a 4-5 star review. I would absolutely say that this is the best pizza that we have had in a very long time. We ordered ahead of time on the phone but they hung up so we called again.

Delicious pizza, huge quantities. Nice atmosphere, mix between classic sports bar and nicer outdoor restaurant. I asked the bartender to surprise me with a mock tail, and it was tasty but mostly just glorified juice; no carbonation or specific flavor profile. It was very busy, so service was a little slow. Prices are also slightly higher than I’d expect for the environment, so only reason why it wasn’t 5 stars. Would definitely go back though!

Good place to hang out. Pizza prices are really expensive. I had two slice they were good but not for the price. They have a good selection of beers. Also pricey. Good place to try it once.

We were in the mood for some pizza on a nice cold Friday evening. Wanted to try something outside of downtown Raleigh and were recommended Di Fara.
