One of few good local places to eat in this area. Nestled up in the woods near Dixon, it’s a welcome change from the fast food chains along the 44. It’s the only place with good ambiance in the area, and I’d say the closest thing to authentic Italian for a good 100 miles in any direction. I enjoy this restaurant the most because of the service. All the people who work here are incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

Went here while visiting our son at Ft Leonard Wood. We live in a larger area and have great choices for Italian… However, this is one of the best we’ve ever eaten. The food was excellent, great view, and the service was amazing. The chef even came out to our table. Highly recommended

Absolutely delicious! My husband and I had our first date here and have been back since for special occasions. Well be celebrating our first wedding anniversary her next week. Amazing food, so friendly and very much worth the slight drive. You will not be disappointed

This place was fantastic! My husband and I recently got stationed here, saw it was a few miles from where we live, and decided to try it out. Simply put… EAT THERE. They’ve got phenomenal servers (maybe even a little overbearing), the food is awesome and the chef even came out and asked how the food was. I had a delicious pasta and my husband had prime rib that you could pull apart with a fork. Will visit again!

By far the best Italian food I’ve ever eaten in my life! I was beyond difficult to bring myself to stop eating! The house salad with the house dressing is the stuff of legend! They offer a Tiramisu that is to die for! The entire atmosphere is gorgeous, from the candle lit tables to the overlook of the Gasconade valley.

We went early on a Wednesday & had a wonderful view with exceptional service! We even got a visit from the chef which was great to have the opportunity to tell him how much we enjoyed the food. The place is off the beaten path but only about 10 minutes from St. Robert. If you are visiting the area you MUST come here. We had Eggplant parmesan appitizer (pic posted) Meatball Sandwich (pic posted) Cheese Tortellini Salsiccia (pic posted) & a Kids Meatball Linguine for our son. All was fantastic!!!…we stuffed ourselves so much we didn’t have room for desert. The rolls with garlic & rosemary are so yummy!Entrees come with Salad. We had the house salad & it was so good. We truly had the royal treatment from our waitress. I could not have asked for a better dining experience. Oh & we had the tiramisu to go & I have never had a better tiramisu…not even in Italy!

i was at Ft Leonard Wood over a span that included two weekends…and ate here twice. it is off the beaten path but provides an excellent alternative to the options next to the freeway or right next to the base. Food was excellent…the service was good…and the chef came out to talk to and check up on the patrons. i expect to return next time i am in the area

Very good food… Best in the area..Service could not have been better. Been here for 3 weeks and am so tired of the franchised junk “food” near the highway… If you want a great meal at a good price and a great view this cant be beat. Its just a little out of the way but well worth it.

This place is a true Italian Bistro in the middle of the country side decorum. The view is breath taking and relaxing, the food is just as good as in NYC Italian restaurants and the Tiramisu is to die for- da morire :D.
