I ordered meatloaf, corn and mash potatoes. My husband had meatloaf, mash potatoes, and red beans and rice. The meatloaf was so salty I couldn’t eat it, it gave me a headache. The corn didn’t have any flavor but the mashed potatoes were okay. I ate here before but never had the meatloaf and the food was not this nasty. My husband had the meatloaf before but it was not salty and this the first time he was so dissatisfied. Don’t know if we’ll ever go back. Just a waste of $42.

I’m new to the neighborhood, so this is my first visit. It won’t be my last! The place looks very clean, the staff was friendly and the food was good. I had the lunch special, one meat, one side, and cornbread for $12. Portions were ample. I had meatloaf with red sauce and dressing with gravy. I look forward to trying the whole menu.

I’ll start with the store. It was clean! The service was very good too. Both of the ladies I interacted with were friendly and prompt. But here’s why I can only give 2 stars overall. The meatloaf I got was not fully cooked. The meat was pink when we cut into it. I took a pic but I don’t see where I can post it here with my review. Had I not been rushing to get to an event, I would’ve taken it back. This spoiled my experience!!

I got some turkey wings, Mac and cheese and yams… the Mac and cheese was lacking cheese and had no seasoning, the yams was to sweet and still had strings from the potato’s in it and the turkey was over seasoned. I kept riding pass this place and wanted to try it but it’s not the best soul food I’ve had and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Friendly staff. DRESSING a little dry..next time I will get gravy. Expected bigger portion sides for the money. Pork Chops tender . Greens were on point. Would recommend. Lunch Specials for 10 bucks. Support Black Businesses please.

The owner has a horrible disposition an attitude you don’t have an attitude when customers are paying for their food and then you’re late by fixing their food like I told her I was going on here to make this review. Poor Customer Service Poor Customer Service this is my Black people that’s why we don’t patronize because you get poor service and you get a attitude when someone says something I’ll correct you is Customer Service. And this customer service that was so poor, so awful so nasty, so arrogant so prideful came from the owner diamond. I would never recommend anyone to go to that location.
