Amazing pizza as always. Employees were really personable and friendly. Wait time for pizza was on par with all other pizza shops. Di Carlos has such a unique pizza recipe and you get a lot for what you pay for.

We ordered 12 slices with pepperoni and extra cheese. The pizza comes with pepperoni automatically. You have to tell them no pepperoni if you don’t want it on your pizza. The locals know this so if you’re from out of town that’s something you should know. That being said, our pizza was PERFECT! The crust was just the right amount of crispness, the sauce was delicious (not to sweet or salty), and the extra cheese was plentiful! There are several pizza shops in the area to choose from. You can’t go wrong choosing the downtown location. We’ll definitely be back!

DiCarlo’s in Downtown Steubenville is the quintessential spot for the Ohio River Valley’s idiosyncratic but addictive style of pizza. Locals may take issue with this, but my go-to order here is a few slices with all of the offered toppings. Some mushrooms, pepperoncinis, bacon, onion, and sausage really elevate the pepperoni and cheese that come standard and are worth the extra expense. Call ahead to avoid waiting for them to prep your order.

We attempted to place our order by phone yet it went straight to voicemail. Upon entering, we were curtly informed we should have called. When we got our two pizzas home, the sauce tasted like generic canned sauce you buy from low end grocery stores, and the crust was rock hard. Not a good buy. Never again.

The original Ohio Valley Style pizza. Great tasting, great people. Sold by the slice or tray two ways to enjoy. Driving from Pittsburgh to Indianapolis made the stop to get some slices. Best pizza in 100 miles. Try it, you’ll like it!

The Pizza here has the really crunchy, thin crust just like the old days. Plus I really like their pizza ‘trays’ which are just 16 slices instead of the traditional 28-slice tray of most joints. Oh- and their white pizza is fabulous! A must-try if you have never had it before. Also recommend calling ahead for your order so that you do not have to wait, as they are always busy.

Some of the best, if not THE best pizza in Steubenville. Its up there with Giannamore’s and Rubi’s for sure. The employees are always super sweet and if you go a few times they’ll know you on a first name basis. And they put 3 pepperonis per slice so they don’t cut corners which is a plus
