The sandwiches are pretty good. The brisket on the other hand is plain. Most places that serve brisket have depth and many flavors in your mouth when a juicy bite hits your tongue. Here it’s just meat. It has a simple plain flavor. I would recommend ordering the sandwiches.

I ordered a brisket baker and received an old potato with cold meat. All of the meals had cold meats on them and the rolls were like throwing stones. Has definitely went down from years past. Menu still lists salads and turkey and were notified when trying to order them, they no longer serve salads or turkey.

My best friend turned me on to Dickey’s a few months ago. I go out of my way to eat here. Meaning, I drive from Charleston when I get a craving. The Westerner is my go to. I like to get the turkey and jalapeno cheddar kielbasa as my two meats for the sandwich and fries for both of my sides. I have him leave the kielbasa on the side. I wash it all down with the sweet tea.
