What happened to Dickey’s? They use to be my go to spot for decent brisket in Pensacola. So many items got axed from the menu. Spent little over $40 bucks, service was good, still friendly people at the counter, they were willing to help out but just not what it use to, oh and this was suppose to be a large fry.

Good family atmosphere here. Staff seemed friendly. Tall guy with dreads who was cutting meat was working extremely hard to process orders. I will say and it’s my opinion, that the meat needs more seasoning . Other than that, all was good. Kids eat free on Sundays and ice cream is complimentary. Portion sizes were good. I enjoyed.

A little different. No bakers available. Wait time 40 minutes. Was willing to wait but they no longer put tanglers on the baker. Had to order other sandwiches. Sweet tea was sugar water showed the girl working behind counter and nothing was done. Had to get a soda pop. Guess we will go back to the one on Davis hwy. it is a shame cause I live right down the road.

The worst experience I’ve ever had in a establishment. Absolutely zero customer service. No music to drown out the employees conversations and complaining. The place was nasty. Almost slipped out on floor due to grease. Area to get sauce was nasty! Tables were dirty! Mens Bathroom was nasty! Most of all the blond headed girl behind the counter does nothing. She couldn’t even help me out with the card reader. She just stood there and watch me struggle with it! Last the food was cold!

The food was really good and the restaurant was clean. But the staff was not friendly and the condiment station really needs to be redesigned. As you can see from the picture plastic ware, drinks, sauces, and relish (pickle & onion) are all located in this same, very small area. The barbecue sauce containers are the same as soup containers on a buffet. Mom and I arrived during peak lunch hour. And had to wait in line again to get the things we needed to complete our meal. And it’s not a very sanitary set up, especially during a pandemic. I felt for those who were on a lunch break and needed to eat in a timely manner. This will be a good place for lunch if you are going to order it online and pick it up to go. Then they offer sauce and relish in to-go containers.

I ate at this barbecue joint when they were located off of Davis highway and really enjoyed it. Now that they’ve moved over here on my side of town I am over and beyond excited. We were due for another barbecue joint on this side of town. Dickies has a wide selection Great taste and great prices. For barbecue done right and meat falling off the bone stop by and try it out. It seems like some of these reviews are a little biased and maybe even a competitor. The only way you’ll ever know is if you stopped in and try it for yourself.

Let me start off by saying my review is solely based off the food and not the employees. Employees were very kind and helpful! But I am very disappointed in the food here. It reminded my partner & I of a backyard bbq where the ingredients are from walmart and not made with love 🙁 We did not finish anything and threw it all away because it was so bad. We should have known when we noticed the lights and open sign were off and no cars out front at dinner hours on a Friday.

Passing through I keep dropping into this area. I’m never dissatisfied. Another great place to stop is Dickey’s! My choice for today was the Cueban not a misspelling a play on the word barbecue! It’s a great sandwich and I had the onion tangles and the big yellow sweet tea well the cup was pink! Breast cancer awareness and barbecue seem to go hand and hand. I have a collection of pink cups to prove it! Great job guys and gals the food was great and people friendly try the Spicy sauce it’s really good! I’ll be back someday! The only thing I would change put some 3’ wrap across the entrance so the employees and customers can look without going blind the menu is hard to read at sunset. Thanks

I love the brisket here and the huge potato bakers it’s loaded with butter, cheese, fried onions, sour cream and I get chopped brisket. It’s amazing they always have good deals the last time I was able to get to huge potatoes loaded with meat for $11 it’s so worth the 20 min drive. You have to stop by and try if you never been. Great and affordable bbq spot
